Once again I'm impressed. This is the third knife I've purchased from this seller, and I have yet to be disappointed. Beautiful real Damascus steel to say the least. The craftsmanship in this knife, as in the others, is outstanding. The fit and finish of the materials in the final product are a work of art. Yes...the knife is a bit on the hefty side and not something you'd casually carry in your pocket, but rather a work knife meant to be used outdoors and worn on a belt. The case is thick leather with waxed nylon stitching and a strong snap on the flap to secure the knife. The knife is not spring assisted, having a thumb screw for opening it and it is a lock back knife. The pictures do not do the knife justice. Greatly layered Damascus with finely filed brass fittings. Be advised that the knife is razor sharp, so be careful when unwrapping it from the shipping materials. And I do mean razor sharp. I could go on and on, but seeing and holding this knife is better than me rambling. Well worth the price. You will not be disappointed.

Hello, I really like this knife, it has a nice weight to it and is just lovely. I noticed that the black plastic was knicked or scratched on one side but hardly was worth sending the knife back over. I would buy this knife or others made by this seller again in the future and would recommend it to any who asked. I do find this a beautiful knife and will love to show it off to any who ask to see it. The only, unimportant, issue that I have with this knife is a aesthetic call over the brass or copper used on the inside; I would prefer the silver/chrome. As stated though that is just an aesthetic choice and really unimportant. This is a really nice weighted knife and the blade has a thickness to it that I also appreciate. The handle rivets weren't flush with the handles, so they snag on fabric, and scratch my palm.The tang notch for the spring lock is not deep enough for the spring to seat in, so the blade doesn't lock.The handle material was unfinished toward the bolster.The steel at the bolster has burs that catch fabric as well.However, with a small file, some sand paper, and polish, will be remedied.It is otherwise a great knife. I love the unique design, and it's build. It is heavy handled, but will work well for whittling and other handy tasks.

A very well-made, and substantial pocket knife! Such a beautiful beast, this knife is both gorgeous and scary!. Though not meant to be used daily as a utility knife, surely could be if needed! My daughter has kept it in her pocketbook for the last 2 years, using it for protective purposes and such. She takes good care of it by keeping it sharpened, and occasionally oiled, and it still looks brand new. Looking forward to buying another soon!

The craftsmanship and quality of this knife was a true surprise when I considered the low price. I was looking to buy a knife to use as a letter opener. Well, I now have a highly collectable knife with a strong leather sheath. The blade is well designed from quality Damascus steel. The file work on the back edge of the blade and the handle was the biggest surprise of all. The deep filing is top quality work. I will be searching for more quality knives on Amazon. And before this purchase, I did not even consider buying quality knives for my collection on Amazon. Surprise surprise

When I saw this knife, I was so excited. After all, it is a rather unique looking design, Griffin beautiful-looking Damascus blade, and a very sturdy looking handle. Unfortunately, though the heft is good, and the blade is certainly interesting to look at, the locking mechanism is extremely poor, and the blade is loose when it's opened. Add to this that the sheath, though strong, is very poorly designed, and sits to high on the belt, causing the weight of the blade droop the sheath outward. Lastly, the blade is sharp neither on edge or point, and there seems to be a warp in this particular item as well. This is the second time that I have ordered this knife, the first was for someone that thankfully is going to use it as a display piece and won't notice what a piece of offel I've accidentally given her. I hoped that trying for the same model might produce a better product. I was quite wrong. I guarantee that I shall be returning this piece of flea-market trash as soon as possible.

I ordered this for someone else for Christmas but now want one for myself. The shape of the blade and handle as well as the damascus pattern make this knife such a unique gift to give. This blade definitely gives me the "Forged in Fire" feel. May buy more later on for myself or as gifts. Looks even better in person!

This knife exceeded my expectations. It's sturdy and has hefty weight to it. No need to to sharpen it. It's sharp right out of the box. I've spent twice the amount of money on knoves that weren't as nice as this knife. If you collect quality knives, GET THIS KNIFE! It'S DEFINTELY worth the price.
