These are perfect for a classroom sand activity. I hot glued the tops on. The only problem was that a few in each package were not usable. Either the threads were off or completely gone or the bottle was slightly smashed. Because of this (as other reviewers stated) I purchased two sets, swapped the good ones with the bad ones and returned the set with the bad ones. Win, win, I got a good full set and Amazon only got one set back rather than two defective sets. This is probably only worth it if you have Prime for free returns of defective items. Otherwise, I would count on some bad ones in the mix. At the price though, two sets to get the amount you need isn't bad either.

Purchased these for my daughters classroom party. Kind of small and cheap looking. For the cost, and for their purpose, it was a good purchase. Shipping cost was ridiculous! For some reason, I couldn't get free shipping w/ Prime.

We hosted an "Under the Sea" theme party at the rec center for my daughters birthday. We had a "picture booth", sand art project center and another craft center where kids made surf boards or crowns.The sand art was a huge success! I purchased a few colors of sand, had the funnels & spoons available - I put a plastic tablecloth down so it was REALLY easy clean up when the kids finished the projects. Some of the boys wanted to use the hearts to give their moms gifts while some of the girls thought the hearts were a much better option than bracelets that were also an option.

The hearts are small but they turned out cute. We used them for a 2nd grade Valentine's Day party and all the kids (girls & boys) seemed to like them. One heart wasn't usable as the top was deformed and another had a crack so the sand leaked out. We hot glued the tops on so there would be less chance of them coming apart and spilling. Also the string for the necklace is quite long. The necklaces hung down to most of the kids bellybuttons.

These are perfect! All 12 came in, none were broken! I love them and will be purchasing more. They are so cute in person. They are clear enough, and the screw on part of the bottles work great!

Sand art was a great activity for my 6 yr old birthday, these containers were a little difficult to get completely full due to the shape.

Work perfectly for the project I need it for her use it for a stand project with my Littles and they were adorable and the perfect size

String kind of weak, closer not perfect but item is lots of fun and worth getting at some point.
