I was looking for relief as my neck and shoulders muscles were very tense and felt weak. I had recently injured my left shoulder, rotator cuff. I was given a sling, but that aggravated it and caused my back to tense in my neck and my shoulders. I used heat to help relax the tension. I was in excruciating pain. I had gone to see a doctor and was referred to PT. In the meantime, I purchased a back brace to help support my back. The back supporter helped, but I was beginning to have trouble lifting my head up. Also, I was getting tingling in my fingers. I went to PT and was put in a traction apparatus and it helped. I only went twice and only on the apparatus once. I was still in pain still using heat to help the tension. I looked into a neck brace and I'm happy I did. This brace is a lifesaver! I put it on and what a difference it made! I had it on for about an hour and the relief was immediate. This brace is simple and it is so comfortable. It is relieving the pain in my shoulders and helping my head from tilting downward. The brace is soft, but holds its shape for ultimate comfort. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Perfect! Offers very very good neck support

I ordered the small, 2.5” brace. The 2.5” one seems to be more like 3”…I am 5’3” with a shorter neck-this is a bit wide but I solved the problem by compressing the front area with a couple of rubber bands. It’s very adjustable for circumference and simple-the Velcro holds well. I bought it to rest my neck muscles while recovering from acdf surgery. I did get instant relief from some of the pain and the muscle fatigue. Anyone with neck problems or recovering from neck surgery should consider one of these. My only complaint is the material is ribbed and not very soft against the skin. I figured with such a simple product a more expensive one could not be much better so I went cheap. Softer material would be well worth a few extra bucks though so I would recommend if you are considering a neck brace to look for one with good reviews for softness especially if you have sensitive skin. The foam itself is firm enough to provide good support but has some give. Overall for the price it’s worth it.

Let’s be real honest here, this thing is not comfortable specifically in a lying down position(despite saying it’s for sleeping) I apparently have a much different opinion on what is considered soft foam because this thing does not seems soft and despite getting the smallest size, it feels like it pushes up on my jaw too much and depsite having it at as loose as possible, it still feels suffocating(May be a personal thing to get used to). I can only imagine how hot it will be at night. I have hyper mobility issues in my neck and because of this I’ve suffered several injuries. I often wake up in the night with my head bent all the way back and neck killing me. I wanted to get this as a cheap option just to prevent this from happening, but at this point I’m thinking of returning and getting a slightly more expensive one that’s actually going to be soft and breathable while keeping my head from rolling back. I will probably still give this a try tonight but definitely regretting thinking I could just grab a cheap thing to help me sleep. Allllll of that being said, it is a bit more comfortable in a seated position and would probably be a good cheap option for daytime use.

I bought this soft foam cervical collar to help with nighttime neck pain, and it’s been surprisingly effective. I always have a collar on hand because of severe damage to my cervical spine. I wear the collar for 1-2 weeks and it relieves pain and helps increase the range of motion I have in my neck

It worked on my stiff neck and I was able to do my daily routine within a few days. Worth the money I spent on it.
