Casamode Multi-Grip Clear Ribbed Runner Rug Plastic Carpet Protector Mat 26" X 12'0"

I bought this to cover my sofa to prevent my cat from laying on it and getting his fur on it (cat deterrent). It works like a charm. My cat now avoids the couch when the mat is laid grip-side up. When the mat is removed (i.e. I'm sitting on the couch), that's a different story lol. I purchased more to place on other pieces of furniture since it's working so well. I will add photos shortly.

Pros: Width and length are good.Cons: The corners were badly curled and would not lay flat no matter how often I bent the creases in the opposite direction. I ended up taking a hair dryer on hot and working it back and forth across the curls then it finally laid flat.Also, the runner does not stay put. I am constantly having to re-position it back to where I had it every couple times I walk on it. It flexes too much as I walk on it and the spikes on the bottom do not grip the carpet enough.

We got this for a high traffic area where our dogs track in a lot of dirt. It's holding up fairly well but I was surprised at how thin it was when we got it. It also doesn't stay in place very well. There are teeth on the bottom that are supposed to keep it in place but there are flimsy and don't do too much.

I can't even give this product one star because of the horrible smell that overwhelmed us when we unwrapped them from the package. I don't know if it's chemicals used in the making or if the packing plant employees were smoking marijuana, but the pot smell is literally nauseating! We opened them in out home and couldn't get them outside fast enough. Buyer beware!

It works GREAT for what I got it for. I use it for my bird cages and I couldn't be happier.

We cut this in half and roll it over the couches to keep the cats and black lab off the furniture. Works- they have the bumps on the backside.

This runner is OK, but compared to the previous order for the E.S. Robbins 27" wide by 20 ft. long, it is thinner, less wide and does not lay flat for awhile at the edges. Will not purchase this one again.

Terribly disappointed with this runner. It still smells horrible in my storage area (after weeks) and the grippers were not long enough to hold in my carpet. I let the return date go by when I realized that I had discarded the box. I would not give 1 star unless required.
