I use ONLY Cascade Platinum ActionPacs in my Maytag dishwasher, because they are highly recommended by the manufacturer. Generic brands can clog up your dishwasher and do a lot of damage, & then you're paying for costly repairs. These Actionpacs take off tough food stains on plates and make your dishes and glasses sparkle. I suggest you put them in the little drawer of the dishwasher PRIOR to loading the dishwasher.
