Gardening 2 Pack - A Simple tool that saves your back!

Living in the Mid West, we get our fair share of snow. My husband being 6.4 and me being 5.10, we are often left with a backaches after having to shovel our driveway. So I am always looking out for things that can make snow removal easier for us. I came across this HEFT on Amazon, while looking for extra long snow shovels. I went to the HEFT website for more information and I really liked the idea. So I ordered the two pack, which arrived quickly. The HEFT was easy to attach to our snow shovels. This will not fit all snow shovels. It fit our heavy duty ones perfectly, but slides off our cheap $10 shovel, so make sure to check the measurements in the item description! This attachment is not going to do all the work for you, but the HEFT definitely will make shoveling easier on your back. I Ended up ordering another two pack and gave one to our school custodian and one to my chiropractor...it makes a great gift!Lastly I also want to mention the HEFT's OUTSTANDING customer support and service. We had a delivery issue and the people at HEFT went above and beyond to make things right...5 star product in my opinion!

It can only fit one size shovel handle and while shoveling snow the Heft would slide up the handle. The rubber on the Heft doesn't provide a firm grip.

Arrived quickly seems sturdy

It slides on fiberglas handled shovels. If they want them back they can have them.

These work almost as intended. In my case, the griping created a reasonably tight fit with my snow shovel, but to make it even more secure I added bicycle handlebar gripping tape to the section of the handle where the Heft would go. After doing this, the grip appeared unmovable. However, during the first try out in freezing temperatures I'm guessing both the gripping tape and the Heft's gripping pads shrunk because of the cold, so if substantial weight was carried the Heft would start to slide upwards on the handle. Because of this, I will have no choice but to add the screw to attach the Heft permanently to the shovel, which defeats one of the reasons I bought this tool, namely to attach it to other tolls as needed throughout the year (as shown in their infomercials). Other than this, it is a valuable tool, and it did make snow shoveling much, much easier than without it.

Super product, wish I had come across it months ago when I made a homemade version.
