Escape Room Puzzles: Dinosaur Island

My five year old nephew absolutely loved this book as dinosaurs and puzzles are two of his favorite things. We read the instructions for each puzzle together, and then he insisted on solving them himself . . . without any hints (although he did need a brief explanation of prime numbers for one page). He was reluctant to set it aside for any reason until he had officially "escaped" and upon doing so, he immediately asked for another book just like this one.I have already purchased the space-themed one for his seven year old sister (who is equally thrilled by her own adventure), but I suspect they'll each want their own copy of every book in the series.

The word “sun” is capitalized when it should not be. The word “elevator” is misspelled every time. And worst of all, the final puzzle tells you to use the five digits you found in an earlier puzzle but the actual solution uses five entirely different digits. I checked the answers in the back and it was just ridiculous!This is totally unacceptable.

My 7 year old loved this! It kept him busy for hours, with creative and varied challenges. He finished it in a day. Based on another review, we looked out for a mistake on the last challenge, but we found no problems with the clues. Loved it so much we got another from the series too!
