Fellow Carter Everywhere Mug, Vacuum Insulated w/True Taste Ceramic Coating, Cargo Green 16 oz

I got the 16oz mug which allows me to do a pour-over into it and dispense part of the final product to my son. The thin wall at the top prevents any rundowns after each sip and almost prevents rundowns after pouring to a different mug for sharing. I have big hands, so it fits fine in my hand but may not fit in smaller hands as easy... and can be slippery if you have really dry hands. I like the fatness of the mug, though, as it keeps the height down and makes it compact. As mentioned by another reviewer, it may not fit in most cup holders. But, you can secure the lid on it and pretty much throw it in the seat next to you and not worry about seepage. All in all, the coffee stays pretty hot and does not pick up any tastes from the ceramic. Not sure how the ceramic coating will hold up over time but we'll see. I have a different ceramic coated mug where the ceramic is showing some hairline cracks (which is why I'm replacing it). Hopefully this product will not suffer the same fate given the price.

I was putting this purchase on hold for a long time but it was a great investment. This is the only mug I can 'trust', if you screw the lid properly, it really doesn't leak a single drop. This mug holds liquids temperature for hours. And design is very sleek and modern. It is on a higher end in terms of the price but I highly recommend it and it's a good and long-term investment that is worth it!

It small and is leakproof, IF you put the gasket seal back on after washing it. Didnt notice it had come off for easy cleaning until I washed it. Found it lying in the sink and pit it back on the lid good as new. It dents like any many metal water bottles do. Expected it to be a bit more sturdy but, I find my happy little dent adds character. It lets you take a full swig of coffee rather than feeling like a hamster at a waterer trying to get coffee. Its fashionable and modern without being hipster. I got it in green. Might put a sticker on it.

*Update: been using it every single day since I bought it. Took it on a road trip as well and worked great for tea and iced drinks. Still loving it after 1.5 months! Original review below...Loose leaf tea drinker, and this mug exceeded expectations.Size: perfect for loose leaf tea! Most mugs of this size (12oz) are too skinny. This one fits a wide infuser, allowing water to properly circulate around the expanding leaves, extracting more flavor. I prefer to brew in-cup so I don't lose so much heat transferring from pot to mug. For comparison, I posted a pic of this mug next to my 12oz Hydroflask, both with the same size infuser...as you can see, it won't fit the Hydro.Insulation: stays hot for a long time so I don't have to rush or reheat. I tend to drink tea faster if I feel it's getting cold, then make more so I keep having something hot to sip on throughout the day. With this mug, I'll end up saving money and effort since I won't need so many frequent refills.Flavor: No metallic flavor persisted, even fresh after washing. No flavor transfer between different types of tea (wash in between). A little bit of smell lingers after washing and overnight drying, even brushing it out with plenty of soap and warm water...but not enough to bother me, all things considered.Drinking: I was afraid the metal lip would be too hot, like it is on the Hydro and many other mugs of this style...but the lip on the Fellow is a pleasant shape, thick enough not to scald you once the hot liquid comes in contact. More like drinking out of a normal ceramic mug. And of course I love being able to feel the steam on my face and smell the aromas while drinking.Look: I love the smooth matte surface and subtle coloring. Minimal logo beveled on top of lid but otherwise all other words and branding are hidden on the bottom of the mug. I love looking at it!Travel: When I'm hiking or really on-the-go traveling, I'll still prefer using my Hydroflask with teabags for the convenience of having a handle and a spillproof lid I can drink from. But the Fellow is my new go-to for everyday home/office use or just taking a cup of tea to hang at the park or a friend's house. It is leak proof as far as I've tested, so I feel fine about throwing it in my bag.

I love this little mug. So far I haven't smelled the weird odor some people have mentioned.My only complaint is I wish it was a little "grippier" - it can slip out of your hands if you're trying to carry too much out the door in the mornings. That said, it didn't even dent when it hit my hardwood floor. It's a sturdy little thing.
