Glossy clean black colour rear rim
I mostly ride my mountain bike on road and off road terrain to go to University. Of course riding on actual bumpy hills will probably not facilitate that. You pay for what you get. Steel is strong and colour finish is nice however, I seen some scratches on this rim but nothing noticeable really. By the way, it does fit a Pressa valve but it still wiggles in the housing hole so I highly suggest using two of the spacer presta rings. One close to the actual tube and one on top of the rim to tighten it firmly onto the rim.

Excellent product
I purchased this product to replace the rear wheel on my 26 inch men’s cruiser. It arrived as promised well packaged. I installed it and I love it. Great job.

It served my needs, but ...
It served my needs but one tiny problem.I live at a homeless shelter in Fort Worth, TX, there are many people, some crazy, who sometimes pin me down in long weird conversations. I recieved the wheel in very good time, and having all necessary tools required went down to a spot behind some warehouses by some railroad tracks to minimize the odds of any human contact. Good timing and quickness were IMPERATIVE for the primary goal of replacing old warped wheel, secondarily avoiding long weird conversations. The entire process should've taken less than 10 minutes. After transferring everything from old wheel to new one - tire, inner-tube freewheel, and even correctly inflating it to the correct pressure - i reinstalled it. There was a constant stress during the process in that there was a crazy person about a hundred meters away mumbling to himself, i feared he might notice me. Additionally, i was EXTREMELY eager to have a tru back wheel with smooth cones and bearings, and regain use of my rear brakes.I adjusted the rear brakes, and put all my tools up. I collected all the garbage, and a plethora of other strewn out odds and ends, and noticed that the crazy mumbler was no longer there. As I excitedly began to pedal off, pleased with my readiness, efficiency and organization, i felt and and heard a horrible grinding. I also noticed two people 50 meters away at the warehouse talking, occasionally looking at me. My excitement immediately turned to frustration, fear gripped me.Turns out the spacers on the axle were either wrong or backwards, and I didn't have cone wrenches, as the shelter had impounded them as contraband. In the demoralizing hours that followed, during the peak of frustration in the sweltering July Texas heat, one of the warehouse guys wandered over and engaged me in a weird conversation terminating with 'Why aren't you over there in the shade?'.Anyway, managed to get it resolved and pedalled off. Wheel is very good except a bit warped from my attempt to move the hub over by adjusting the spoke nuts and accidentally loosening or tightening wrong ones due to being in a rush, impairing my concentration.

Piece of crap
This is the worst bike wheel I’ve ever used. Out of the box, the axle had no grease and didn’t move smoothly. I thought that wasn’t a big deal and fixed it. I noticed that it would bend at the slightest bit of torque but I figured that it just needed to be worked in and alighted again. I did that and it never got better. I kept having to align the rim by tightening spokes and it got to a point where a few spokes snapped. They weren’t stripped or broken at the head. No they were pulled through the rim. I didn’t even know this was possible till it happened. This is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. The rim isn’t stiff at all.
