Excellent value
I have a WM7000 down below driving 2 older Bose speakers in the cabin of my sailboat with two Polk audio waterproof atrium 4 under the dodger on deck. Like most single din marine stereos, The WM7000 does not have the power to adequately drive these speakers. Adding the Pyle AMP produced amazing results. The unit is solid and well made. The terminal strips are top quality. Installation was easy. Integration with the WM7000 sound control features using RCA jacks is excellent. This unit comes with a 20 amp fuse…As a sailor and anchoring overnight without an engine running I was concerned the amp would be a power hog. But with my setup running all 4 speakers fairly loud I am seeing only a 1-2 amp draw which is no problem for my house bank. Much has been made of the unit not truly being waterproof. I agree with this but suggest that mounting an amp, or really any electrical component, in an area exposed to constant wetness is stupid - put it out of the weather.

Waste of money and TIME!
This thing didn't work right from the start. My more expensive amp went out after about 3 years, which is expected in a boat in Southern Florida. I replaced it with this, thinking it'd be "good enough" for a couple years when I'll have to replace it again, anyway. First, the power and ground wire receptacles we're far smaller than the previous amp, so I had to size down the power/fuse and ground wires. Second, it had so much electrical interference/feedback noise that I could only listen to music when EVERYTHING else in the boat was off. This wasn't the case with the previous amp, but I started digging into the wiring to locate the likely bad ground. None found. I bought expensive wrapped RCA cables, and that seemed to help a little, but still feedback when an engine or pump were running. Third, this is definitely not designed for the marine environment, despite the description! Stuff rusts in Southern Florida, but this thing shouldn't have started rusting within the first two weeks if made for MARINE use. It was installed inside the console and kept dry. Replaced with another more expensive amp, and everything works great. This is in the landfill, unfortunately. I should've given up searching for the bad ground and returned it while I could. DO NOT BUY.

Decent amp for the price but not highest quality
I installed this on my boat as a cheap solution to run a bit more power to my 4 speakers (2 Alpine & 2 Fusion). Installation was easy (but I've wired a number of stereo systems and amps before) and it looks nice, but I would rate the sounds quality as just OK. Everyone knows in the amplifier world that all Watts are not created equal, so don't expect the volume and quality of a JL Audio, Alpine, Soundsteam or MTX.
