NIcely packaged in a strong recyclable bottle, this contains around 3 months supply which does make it an attractive buy.There are always arguments in favour of taking additional supplements and of not taking them. For my part, I take them, daily, and have done so for decades. The one supplement that I am always lacking in though is the fish oil, and I know that is necessary - especially for someone like me who rarely ever goes near fish. The additional vitamin A and D content is useful for people who don't take regular multi-vitamins, or who are not able to fulfil their 5-day dietary requirements. As I write this I can remember my own mother in the distant past lining us siblings up and feeding us cod liver oil from a spoon every day! Give me these softgels any day.The seller has been sensible with their description of the possible benefits of taking cod liver oil supplements, saying "may help " and I believe that is an accurate phrase to use because only the individual can ever know if they feel benefits. For my part, I definitely believe supplements (vitamins and minerals) are beneficial to me (and such products are available from Amazon).Given the price, the nice bottle, the fact these are easy to take, and also the fact that I have felt no ill-effects after taking them for a few days (I didn't expect I would), I can certainly recommend this product and will continue to take them.

I’ve been taking cod liver oil capsules for a few years now. One a day, just as the optician ordered. She says they’re great for eye health and I suffer with dry eyes. I’ve certainly not had any problems with these capsules though I’d need to take them for a more sustained period to actually comment on their effect. I normally take 1000mg capsules from H & B. One a day is all I need, and they also have vitamin D in there. As I live in Scotland that’s a bonus. We don’t see much sun.Overall I can’t see any difference between these capsules and the H & B ones except the price. These cost 10.6 pence per capsule while you can get them in H & B for 7p each.

I take this due to stiff joints and general aches and pains of getting older. The capsule is fairly large but the outer coating is soft and slippery so it goes down with very little effort.This is meant to be good for brain function and is also a source of vitamin D, as since most of us fo not eat enough fish, this is a good supplement to take instead.There is a 3 month supply and this is really good value for money. I am happy with this product and would recommend it.
