The Radio Today guide to the Yaesu FTDX10 (Radio Today guides) Paperback – September 17, 2021

The DX10 is an incredible radio. However, for the new owner it can be a bit overwhelming. This book clearly unravels the dark magic surrounding the many features and functions available. More importantly, it will help you quickly set things up so you can get on the air like a pro.The factory manual will essentially provide a list of menu items, but does not really explain what they do and why / where you might choose option A over option B. This book fills in those knowledge gaps.It is well written and clearly organized. You do not need to read it from page 1 through the end. You can bounce around to the sections most pertinent to your use case.Highly recommend. It will help new users get started quickly and will help advanced users make the most of this fantastic radio.

This book takes the instruction manual to a new level. It explained things in plain english how to use my new radio, Also the pictures are a big help. I highly recommend it for all you radios. I just wish they had them for some of the older radios I have

This book explains a lot of features of my new radio. I will probably never use this radio to its highest capabilities but it's nice to know if I want to all I have to do is look it up in this book and find out how. It gives some insight as to how things work and why whereas the manual just tells you how it works but possibly not why it works that way, if that makes any sense... Worth the money just to keep in your reference guides.

The author did a great job of bringing out the important parts out of the manual and breaks it down for you.Being new to this radio, I was spending way to much time finding stuff in the manual.I'm very happy with this book end now I spend more time with my radio.If you have used your radio for awhile, you may not get as much out of this as I have, but I'm really glad I got it. I have a Yaesu FT-990 that I will not get rid of. It has no menus, just dials. I also have a few newer VHF/UHF radios with menus, but nothing like the FTDX10, it has menus for it's menus.73 everyone.

This is a great book. It was shipped quickly. I highly recommend this book if you own, or want to own, a Yaesu FT-DX10.

While this book seems to have a lot of info, on the few occasions I've referred to it for specific info I needed to know, there was NO mention of that topic in the book (or even in the index). :(

The book helped a lot in getting know the radio. I recommend this book to all owners of FT-dx10. I wish I got this book before getting the "Nifty..." useless booklet that costs more and gives nothing.I do recommend this book

This is not a replacement for the owners manual, but is very nice to have. Some of the more complex settings are easier with this manual.
