How can they make this stuff so cheap?
I actually know, but frankly I will still take advantage of the cheap labor wherever these are made (probably asia). That said the one I have installed in my drivers door works well. I took a little bit of experimenting to get it to work with my new alarm, but it does and I am happy. Can't wait to get the passenger door wired up as well.

decent for the price.
Works well. One solenoid kinda sucks. Brown and white wires go to signal. Solenoids are a bit clunky. Relay works well. needs a momentary dp no switch.

work great
have been using it for a couple of months, they work great. only issue I had was the wiring was too short.

but in a good way! The locks are the industry standard actuators
First let me say I have a couple decades experience in the automotive service world, and specialize in electronics. I got this to add some cheap power locks to my offroad expedition truck. I got just that, but in a good way! The locks are the industry standard actuators, very simple and tend to last a long time. They have plenty of power to work the locks, and other than the loudness of them, you would be hard pressed to tell they aren't factory. The only reason I took away a star is because the instructions are a joke! Actually there ARE no instructions, simply a wiring diagram. You are on your own to figure out how to mount them and make them work. Not a problem if you are mechanically inclined and have a decent working knowledge of how the system should be set up. Just be aware-THIS KIT IS NOT FOR BEGINNERS!Other wise its a fairly decent setup. As others have mentioned the wires are a bit short for some installs, but that's easy enough to overcome. I tied these in with my security system and remote start, as well as adding a set of door lock switches. Took a couple hours to do it all, and that included programming my security system.

Power Doorlock Actuators
Comes with everything you need to install power door actuators in a vehicle with up to four doors. One of the actuators connects the other three. My vehicle is a two-door, so I only needed the five wire actuator and one of the three two-wire actuators. The travel distance is three-quarters of an inch; and, will open any door lock with the linkage included. I used this kit with Pyle Watchdog #PWD 701 (also purchased on Amazon.com). Together the two kits provide keyless entry and a great alarm system.!

Quality is great, wires are too short.
These actuators appear to be of high quality. I've tested all of them, and they all work. I've installed 3 of the 4 in my wife's car (2003 Toyota Echo), and so far they work great. Other reviewers have said the wires are a bit short, and I found that to be a massive understatement. You will absolutely need extra wire to make these all fit (which is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5). The instructions were a bit lacking, but it's a pretty simple process so just a little tinkering should get you up and running pretty quickly. I installed these with a keyless entry system, and the whole thing works great. The instructions with the keyless entry were worse the the instructions for these, so I'd recommend you be a little tech savvy to undertake this and a keyless entry system, but just installing these is pretty simple and straightforward.
