HOHOTIME A3 Light Pad, Rechargeable Diamond Painting Light Pad with Charging Adapter, Carrying Bag, USB Cable, Adjustable Brightness Light Box for Tracing Artists Drawing Diamond Art

This was recently delivered and I have only used it once. It arrived in charged condition and I used it for a couple of hours before it began to intermittently flicker off, which I assumed meant it was time to charge it.Plugging the cable into the charging port was not an easy fit, but a red light came on, which I assumed indicated it was not fully charged. After charging overnight, the red light is still on. Is the light supposed to change color when charged? There is no information about it in the very vague instruction sheet. This morning I noticed there was a gap between the front and back of the unit where the charging port is located, but it snapped back together when pressed.Overall, I like this very much so far. The working area on mine is 16" wide by 11-1/2" high. The only marks on the left and upper edges are in centimeters, if that matters. I like the various light temperatures and dimming/brightening seem to work intuitively, though the power button doesn't always respond without changing the pressure I apply to the button. So far, it works great and I'm looking forward to using it for tracing for art projects as I intended.The surface is not for cutting and cutting would permanently damage it.I like the case. It is made of felt (probably recycled rather than wool, but not specified) and it unzips completely to lay flat with sturdy dual zippers. The felt is lined with what seems to be sewn-in nylon. There is a closure flap between the handles with a sewn-in "leather" piece that could accommodate initials or other information. I wish it had more padding to protect this larger size from bumps and flexing in transport, though I only intend to use it in my home so it's probably sufficient. I wouldn't store the undersized stand next to the light box for that reason. A larger stand is definitely in order for this size and trying to use it on the included stand is laughable. I use mine flat, which is fine for me.Two pockets attach with velcro and will accommodate the stand and accessories, so they can be easily removed for storing this flat. Be careful to not place much stacking pressure on the unit with all the accessories in place as the padding seems insufficient to protect it from damage. The pockets could be improved with gusseting. The clips are more of a serving suggestion than high-quality accessories and you might want to use your own system.In summary, I'm happy with this purchase for my purposes and will post an additional review if needed later on. I'm still waiting to hear about the charging light color. Does anyone know?

I was a little afraid to order this after I read some reviews but tried it anyway. I’m glad I did because I love it! It came with a charge so I got to use it for awhile. It did start blinking and it needed charging. I love the size it’s perfect for my Diamond Art. But the charger is battery powered and is a piece of junk. I used one of mine and it was fine. Overall it’s a great buy.

This is great for working on diamond art projects.

No assembly required. Charged up fast, works great for diamond art painting. Wish the stand was a little sturdier. The carrying case is great! Fast shipping.

My wife likes it a lot. It's durable, has good lighting, is good quality, easy to carry.

Very weird, first one I received would not connect to the external battery pack… the usb cord provided would not connect to pack. Called and was sent a new light pad the next day. Unfortunately that one keeps flashing on and off as I use it… the light gets brighter and duller on its own and even turns off as I work. I am now returning that one as well

Love that you can charge it and use without cords. Charge time is quick, and the battery last a good while. It's great at holding the charger as well
