30010 Jayco 4-6 Pigtail - Black, 30"

The pigtail on my 1990’s Jayco 1006 broke. I ordered this part and it fits perfectly. It’s easy to install and functions as it should. I couldn’t find a similar product in any retail location. This is the best place to get an exact replacement.

This might still be listed as 30", but I spoke with the manufacturer and they have re-manufactured at 40" including the ends. If you want to make sure, call the manufacturer - owner is very nice at RV Pigtails. Make sure you purchase the specific model for your brand of camper or it may not run the proper lights.I feel like the end plugs could be secured better to both the cables and the outside wire protector. The plug that attaches to the vehicle gets pulled in and out every time you hitch and unhitch so I feel like the wires might pull away from the plug end after a short while of use. So far I've done two camping trips and I can already see the wire poking through a bit. I may try to add clamps to get more life out of this rather than return it. If you're careful it will probably last several seasons of trailer use. The exterior wrap is the type of plastic/nylon cord protector, with a slit in the side, that you can get in bulk to tether your computer wires etc. It seems sturdy enough, but it's not a heavy cable wire coating as I expected. You can open the side slit and the wires are right there. Photos- after 2 camping trips.

Only one side of my 85 Jayco 1008sg pop up camp trailer would work. I ordered this pigtail and it got all lights working again. Wishe it was a little but longer but it took care of my issue and i am thankful!

This fit just like original. just the right length for my truck. I had to loop once to take up slack. I have comon issue with 6 socket sticking - a bit of pure silicone spray outside fixed that and some electrical relay spray for the inside contacts. That is how I broke the original off my 40 yr old Jayco popup.

This pigtail works perfectly to go from my 4-Flat to my 95' Jayco 1206, all lights work now and I don't have to use the aftermarket crappy magnetic trailer lights anymore!!My one complaint is that it is obviously made by someone in their garage attaching ends to wires and placing plastic wire loam over it exposing the ends to wear where the wire meets the ends, also will let water and road grime in to stay... so the build can be much better.I used heat-shrink electrical tape and reinforced the ends and sealed up the wire loam to keep it weather tight. I would gladly pay $10 more AND give a 5 star review if the person selling it would've done that so the part doesn't risk failure sooner rather than later.

Perfect replacement for the original 25+ year old harness. Do wish the ends were a bit stouter, but perfectly adequate.
