This works great for almost all viruses, from Hep C to HSV, neither of which I have, however, I know of cases where BHT has completely eliminated both. I use it because I tend to get high viral counts from Epstein-Barr virus and this knocks it back very quickly. I don't like to take it every day as I'm not sure if that's a good idea or not, there isn't a ton of research done on it, and so I'm mostly experimenting on myself so I'm careful with this supplement, as it's very powerful. I take 250 mg/day, but I don't take it every day, I only take it as needed. If the symptoms are particularly severe, I never exceed 500 mg./day (although most people can go up to 1000 mg./day without side effects) I'm a bit wary because sometimes my liver enzymes are elevated as it is, I don't want to place any more stress on my liver, so I'll just sprinkle some in my bathwater, or use it as a suppository, which bypasses the liver entirely. This is a good quality supplement at a good price, and I definitely recommend it. Just be careful as it is a very powerful medicine, and can effect the liver at higher doses. Definitely don't drink while you're taking it.

While this wasn't quite the BHT I had in capsule form before, it's what I wanted and I can make this work.
