Be really certain you want a daylight bulb for your kitchen or basement.
I bought these to replace 65w miser lights that were in my finished basement ceiling and some existing LEDs in the recessed kitchen area. In the kitchen I already had a few LED floods that were a lower color temperature, but too yellow for my taste. These, on the other hand, are so much like daylight that I do not like them for my application in either the kitchen or basement.This is not to fault the bulbs or the vendor; it's just that they really do make you feel like you are outside and for night use, they light they cast is almost spooky. I would get something a bit lower than the 5000K temp and I may actually go back to the more yellow light for now.If you ever used Sylvania halogen bulbs in your older cars and noticed how bluish white the light was -- this is similar to that.

They do not last as long as advertised.
These are terrible. They have lasted us on the whole, 6 months apiece. They do not last nearly as long as advertised. I felt that the price was fair because they were supposed to last much longer. But that has not been the case. I am currently looking for a new brand to purchase, to replace the ones that have quit working.

Lasted less than 1/2 yr...
These lights just don't last. Started flickering within 3 months. At 6 months, one completely died. These are advertised as lasting 25k hours...which is supposed to last 23 years. Nice...

Rugged lamps
I use these lamps outdoors on power poles to light the roadway and yard. They have lasted 3 years, ON for the dark period of night on a sun switch. 2 or 3 lamps cluster light up a big area. So much superior than the old mercury vapour light that they replaced. 200 watt mercury, now only 3x12 watts , =36 watts, and more light with colour balance.

Very bright but dont dim very well
Very bright but Do not dim all that well. Have 6 lights on same dimmer switch. The lights do not dim evenly. One always goes out before the others.

Bright white bulbs
Great bulbs with a bright white light these replaced older led that gave a rather yellow light the new ones now light up our front yard. Patio and side walk, great price compared to our local store
