notified seller....another was sent....informed customer service to make sure this was the right one for my radio....the second adaptor came , no charge......second one dont work.......gonna ask for a refund now. and my rating wouldve been NO STARS.but it doesnt let you go off the page if you dont pick something.....still waiting for a refund on my credit card and no answer..only that a rep from Sangean said its something else that is wrong with the item but no response on a refund.....had went thru ECK with Sangean over getting a refund for an adaptor that doesnt work for my older radio..kept giving me the run around....sent pics of it...and My radio to the rep for almost two weeks.........I will never buy another Sangean product again.or anything related to Sangean.and they wanted me to YET get another one.....fat chance!!!!!!!.....

Finally! I bought a Sangean radio to quietly listen to music in my cubicle throughout the day, but it ate through batteries EXTREMELY quickly. I couldn't find an adaptor to fit it until this one was recommended to me by a commenter on my review for that radio. I've used it daily (on weekdays, that is) for a little over a year now without any problems. Highly recommend!

I left a bad review for this item after it failed to work with my Sangean radio after a year of use. Sorry - it was not the adaptor but the Radio. There was a problem it’s where the cord plugged into the radio’s power socket. A week ago, the Radio quit after seven years of hard use and more than a few drops. So I think it is safe to say to was not the cord but the radio.It works fine with my new Sangean.

I bought this to go with the corresponding Sangean AM/FM digital radio - PR-D18. If you are getting the radio, please get the corresponding adapter that is meant for that radio. In the reviews of the radio, those who tried to save a couple of dollars by purchasing a 'generic' adapter, were not always happy.

I was using good quality Duracell AA batteries and using them to listen to my radio which I listen to several hours a day. The batteries would last me a few days with constant replacement so I bought this device and it haven’t needed to replace the batteries since. Buy this product if you listen to the radio for hours on end and it will pay for itself many times over.

Not much to say except that it does provide 120/240 power to free you of the need to use battery power when portability is not the issue. The real credit goes to the Sangean radio, which is rock solid in all respects.

Bought a small am/fm radio, it did not come with this power adaptor.

This adapter is the perfect replacement for the OEM Sangean PRD 18 AC adapter. IMO, this adapter is exactly the same.

Purchased the adapter to use with the PR-D18 and it works very well. I have the radio right up against the wall plug and there is no interference / static in any of the AM stations that I listen to. Very happy.

Bought the radio and the adapter but the radio only lasted a few months, so I can't give this now-useless adapter much of a review.

Este adaptador Sanguean es buen producto, cumple con lo que dice el vendedor, no le doy cinco estrellas por su precio alto comparado con el mismo artículo sin marca en una tienda accesorios electrónicos, eso lo sabia con anterioridad, si lo he comprado fue para complementar mi radio Sanguean, pienso que le dá un valor agregado...

Not much say about a power adapter except that it works.

If you get the radio, get the adapter!
