I bought these pens to make memento gifts for some friends. I used only one of the pens so far (the blue one). I wrote "LIVE YOUR DREAMS" on a very small bottle that had a cork in it (I filled the bottle with glitter and stars). The pen worked great for this project. It was a very tight place to write within, but because the pen was a fine tip -- it worked excellently. The paint dried really fast, and I had 0 smears on the bottles. That in itself was awesome.I highly suggest these paint pens for craft projects. Just follow the directions of shaking them and priming the point. I had to prime occasionally as I worked to keep the paint flowing smoothly. It's just part of the process.

I bought these paint pens a year ago, and am still using them. The ones I've used frequently are still working. The ones that I use less, are also still working. I had no problems with them drying up. I am very pleased with the fine lines you can achieve with them. The colors are nice. I found the trick to working with these is to make sure you shake them well, and I keep a small spray bottle with alcohol and paper towels, to wipe them off while using to keep them from clogging. I really like the plastic tips and find I can get really small dots and lines, to larger ones when I press a little harder on the tip. The colors are nice, and the silver and gold ones are my go to metallic markers, even over my ultimate favorite paint pens, Uni Posca, which has the same tips on their ultra fine points. I haven't tried these on anything that will be outside. I noticed some others said the paint did not hold up well to weathering. I would suggest a clear sealant for items to be used outside.

I really like the consistency and texture of the paint in these paint pens! The fine points allow me to do detailed work easily. Bright true colors. The only reason I didn't give these 5 stars was that inner tips fell out of about 5 of the pens when I took their caps off. I was able to put them back in easily, and they work ok, but I'm concerned that it may happen again now that the tips have paint on them. If it did, it may damage what I'm working on. Otherwise, I am happy with them so far.

There are some problems with the Beric pens. You are supposed to shake them before each use, and with many of them it's difficult to know if they're shaken enough because there is either very faint or no sound of the little ball bearing shaking inside, even after vigorous shaking. Also, every time you use it, you must first draw on something else, because it will almost always leave a puddle of paint with the first touch, which you don't want on whatever you are working on. This is the biggest drawback, because a lot of paint is wasted. Also sometimes the paint doesn't flow smoothly and you have to put repeated pressure on the point to get the paint going, and then it might pour out.All that said, when you get going, and they're working correctly, they work really well, and the colors are vivid and fun to draw with.I use them on rocks and they work really well.

I am using my Paint Pens by Beric right now. I love them, I paint (draw) on rocks, these have worked out so great for the detail work that really is the finish work and it is so hard to use paint to do that. I use the Pens for that now and what a difference, they are so wonderful and make it easy do do the final detail work. I love them and I already tell everyone about them. I would recommend to ANYONE needing a good Pen for anything to give these pens a try., you will be so glad you did.

Very happy with purchase. I use them for rock painting. Vibrant colors that dry fast. Nice fine tip for detailed work. Be sure to shake them well, get the paint ball to roll back and forth. The metallic colors take a bit more shaking. Be sure to blot before doing delicate work, as the tip can collect a small ball of paint between uses. I like that you can angle the tip to go from extra fine to thin. Note: these are not for painting a whole rock.

I dont generally write reviews within days of receiving an item but this time I tried them out right away and am pleased with their performance.My first sirprise came when I realized theyd been out in the community mailbox for about 12+ hours in freezing weather. I didnt get to the mailbox until after midnight and was pretty sure they were ruined. I broght them in and let them sit overnight to thaw out.I shook them all well past the mixing ball moving freely. All colors “freed up” the mixing ball within a few vigourous shakes except for the gold and silver which even after repeated shaking sessions the mixing ball still moved pretty sluggish but they did move.I teated the flow of all the pens. Be REALLY gentle when pressing tip to prime for the first time. Dont plunge tip fully or you will waste a puddle of paint! Some colors are more viscous than others.I did a doodle on a piece of mixed media paper and liked the flow.I was able to blend colors in a little puddle and use to do shading.Mixed media paper isnt the best surface to use these on - far too absorbent! I enjoyed the few minutes I spent with them.I intend to use these for doing fine detail on rock painting (I bought the super fine point) but wont be able to get started on that project until after the holidays, but Im looking forward to it!If these run out quickly, dry up or otherwise reveal negative traits i will come back and update.
