Moorebot MB01 Security and Surveillance Camera

This is not ready to be on the market. Cute as crap, voice is cute as well. However they released it for sale, before it is ready. Sounds like they may get the program to work with Alexia, and that would change my opinion maybe. I had a hard time paring it to my phone, took 3 days of trying. Emailed Pilot Labs, and never heard back yet (been a week), finally got it going, and it says to reboot him, and it will set the time, emailed again, asking how to get him to reboot, again, I am waiting for a response, no luck. the time seems to be 7 hours off from mountain time, guess in china?I did buy a camera to monitor my puppy, before I found this, and it has really good quality picture (paid $65), this camera is grainy, and in the dark (meaning you only have 2 100 watt light bulbs on) it is very dark, barley making out the stuff in the living room.I love robots, so I don't plan on sending it back, but I could have had 3.8 cameras that were excellent for the same price as Moorebot, if that was the only reason I bought him. Only reason I am not sending back is because he's a cute robot.After writing this review, I was instructed to contact [email protected], a different address than in manual(what little manual it came with), and they did help me fix the time issue. if you have this, go to the settings (gear in app), and hit add robot, where yours shows up, hit the re-pair button on the left, this fixed it, I now get the correct time. Cant wait for him to connect to Alexa, then he will really be worth the money.

No updates, I think this is a dead project. even hubble-hugo the successor is not marketed.

Just like the previous review, it won't follow voice commands. A new update is required right out of the box before use. It has limited functionality from the start, hopefully they will send an update soon or this product will not have a long shelf life.

It started out to be ok then went down hill from there. This Product turned out to be nothing more than a big paperweight.

The concept is cool but the product is a far cry from ready I had it connected to my high speed internet and it would start out being normal then freeze up. Then it would not follow voice commands as of now the way the product is it's a fancy paper weight. I will stick with the Amazon echo lol but really disappointed.

Moorebot is a good camera but as a personal assistant he needs some support. His app has not been updated in over a year 😔 he has great potential but only if they support him as of right now January 2017 was the last update he is still fun and a bit funny I like him
