It is a good piece of equipment. we are usIng it to control humidity in her ball pythons cage.I had to buy a second one though as my daughter overfilled the first one. There is a fill line and she didn't realize it.I think they could do a redesign to make overfilling less costly. Overfilling sends water down into the control boards. Outside of overfilling the design is pretty great.But overfilling is a user error. The product as it is supposed to work does a great job.

I bought this for my crested geckos tank… It’s way too powerful for a small tank. I wouldn’t recommend buying this for a 10-20 gal. My geckos tank is closer to 40-50 gal, and this works wonders. It took a little experimenting to figure out the right schedule to keep the humidifier on since it doesn’t have a built in hygrometer or timer, but now I only have to worry about refilling the humidifier :)

I've had a lot of issues getting the tube to work, I'll set it up, and it runs great, the next day it's clogged up and I have to dump water out of the tube. A lot of people have mentioned that the outlet has to be the low spot on the tube, and that it has to be a consistent run (no droops) but that's just not feasible with the way I have it set up, so I've opted to just run it without the tube!

While I do appreciate the ease of filling from the top and the volume this fogger holds, the little styrofoam floatie that shuts it off when it runs out of water gets stuck constantly so it thinks it's out when it's not and shuts itself off CONSTANTLY. Making it pretty inconvenient. The hose is too long and flimsy so it's really hard to keep in place, especially with the suction cups included, which don't adhere to smooth glass, and, as such, are useless.

Perfect for chameleons

We bought this for our Jackson's Chameleon enclosure and loved it for the first couple of weeks. Followed the directions precisely, made sure it was on a flat surface, was very careful when refilling, etc etc. Our chameleon loved the mist and we were really happy with this purchase. Then the beginning of weeks 3 it started leaking. Before we realized how bad the leak was it had already ruined part of our wood flooring. We cleaned it up and tried to figure out the cause but never could and it continued to leak after running for 30 minutes or so, so we had to return it. Very disappointing.

It’s a nice top fill humidifier… but even on a low setting I have to fill it every 1.5 days so if you need have it on a high flow it will need frequent fills

I bought two of these for two different tortoise tanks and I constantly have problems with them. One doesn't work at all anymore after less than 5 months. The other one I can't just refill, I end up having to take the whole thing apart to keep it from leaking all over the floor. I'm replacing both of them. Not recommended.
