Perfect for learning states capitals
These were great for studying states and capitals with my 5th grader. The cards are sturdy and perfect for on the go. I like that they provide state details that make geography a little more interesting than just memorizing just names of states and capitals. It was also helpful that they split the states and capitals by region since that's how they're teaching it in my son's class.

Great info on cards and great for my 7 year old niece.
She loves learning and these cards are durable, and just as importantly, they have more than just basic information on them. Allows you to use them for multiple lessons as the child progresses.

Great teaching tool!
These little flashcards are great! We bought them to use for our homeschool, and it's very handy for quick reference. I like that they place an image of the highlighted state next to the continental US, so the child can visualize where it is located. The color-coded regions make it easy to break up the states into logical groups, so it doesn't feel so overwhelming. The cards are made from good, semi-glossy cardstock, and they are packed with fun facts and state-specific information.

Great find!
I work with my grandbaby early heโs going to be turning 1 but loves to watch and listen when I show him flash cards and things! These are great to use for that and will continue to use throughout his schooling years!

Maybe a wee out of date.
I love these cards. I like all the info they offer, geography, capitol and major cities... so great. One slight drawback, which is understandable because the change was made very recently. The Mississippi flag. It is still listing the Battle Flag of MS, The confederate flag is in the corner. I'm not upset. I just find it unfortunate. Maybe AMZ can put the publishing date of such cards somewhere? Thanks.

Great to use
They are very well made & colorful. I love how the front of the card has the map of the country with the state in black, the area of the country it is in, an outline of the state, what number state it was and the year when it joined the Union & it shows the flag. Be forwarned, some states have their names printed on the flags so you may need to cover the corner with your thumb. The backs have some great info; capital, state bird & flower, nickname, industries, attractions & interesting facts. A great reference for any report! They are, like most flashcards, too small to use in a classroom setting. I use them with 2 kids and really, I think that is enough. I use them for review. Once a week we pick 2 states & their capitals to learn. On Fri we have a "State" Bee with all of the states we have learned thus far.
