Covergirl Eye Enhancers Eyeshadow Kit, Shimmering Sands, 3 Colors

I completely forgot about these eyeshadows fromCover Girl! I’m so glad i found them. Shimmering Sands was my go to years ago. I like the nudes look and it can be worn for work or going out. I have no problem applying it and making it stay. I used a primer and it stays on all day. Subtle but i have people ask me what shade it is all the time! Great price and great product!

These are the colors I have used for years. I use the middle on all over my eyelid, up to my eyebrow and slightly under my lower eyelashes. The darker color is used in my upper crease about half way in the middle of my eyelid crease to just beyond the outer eye. I blend the dark in for a smokey look. It helps my eyes seem further a part and stand out. I haven't used the lightest color as I don't need it. This product lasts a long time. So, I have this one for when I run out of the one I am using. I like a natural look so this really meets my needs. You could make it more dramatic using the darker color more. Their is a bit of glimmer versus a matte finish. I have tried the matte and it doesn't have the same effect.

I have literally been buying the same eyeshadow for the past 22 years! Shimmering Sands. It's my all time favorite and I have never found another eyeshadow that even compairs. This is a good deal and now that I know I can get it on here... It will save me a trip to the store when I'm running low!

I like this pallet for multiple reasons: 1. Price: it's inexpensive 2. It's easy to travel with: this could easily be the one eye shadow pallet you take with you on vacation & because it's inexpensive you won't feel bad if you lose it or drop it or something happens to it 3. Cruelty free: thank you covergirl for not testing on animals 4. Complimentary color pallet: goes with every eye color

I love CoverGirl products and have used them for years, 28 years this Christmas to be exact ;) My first eyeshadows were a CG and a gift from my mom!I was drawn to these colors immediately and was excited to try them. I was very disappointed with the lack of pigment however. I used primer prior to applying, and despite this after applying all the colors were so similar there was really not enough contrast to make them "strikingly" different once they were out of the compact and on my eyes. Once applied the shimmer is more pronounced than the pigment is and I'm just not impressed with this particular set. Perhaps if the colors were matte, or had less shimmer I'd be more impressed. I honestly have to say this set will probably sit on the shelf more than it will be used.

This was a used product.I kept it because but the applicator was missing and there was only 1 stroke used. Obviously someone tested it once, then at least got rid of the applicator and returned it. But annoying that I got it. :/

Looks good came in good shape I buy it again
