40W Energy Saving warm white 150W Equivalent Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb CFL 2 Pack

These bulbs are very bright - which is what I was looking for. However, they are definitely NOT compact - they are HUGE! They stick way out of the socket cover I have in my ceiling fan/lamp. So it looks pretty ugly, but I don't really care about that too much. Just be aware that these are no small at all.

Provides a bright warm light. Would give a 5 star rating except for the high pitched sound emitted.

Ok bought these for a large lamp in the living room. First off the seller send 75W equivalent bulbs not the 150W but seems like to much trouble to send them back. Used one of the bulbs for about 2 weeks before it blew. Ok maybe got a dud it happens. So I put the other one in another lamp on Monday afternoon (2/27/17) and it stop working around 2pm today (3/2/17). Nothing wrong with the fixture or outlet and two different lamps. These bulbs are just substandard. Instead of getting months of use, I got days. Be careful on these "cheaper" alternative I guess.

Good: Arrived on time, were not broken, excellent price. Not so good: VERY yellow color, they take a while to achieve full brightness, one bulb emits a noticeable hum. Since these are used in the garage, they're still quite usable but I wouldn't want them elsewhere.UPDATE: Got so annoyed with ugly yellow light, slow warm-up and noise that I threw them into the trash and replaced with Sylvania 300w. equivalents from Lowes.

the unbroken two were nothing special - warmth obviously a euphemism and illumination subjective - no doubt they measured correcl;y on a test bench, and they are fine in the garage, as long as I don't have to live there.the package was clearly marked damaged, which explained the sound of tinkling glass; obviously a variation on New and Sealed that hasn't been considered yet; unfortunately the package was thrown away during a misguided cleaning spree

Completely satisfied. Bulbs provide bright light without getting hot. Price was very reasonable. I use in a IKEA floor lamp that cautions againdt using more than a 100 watt bulb to avoid fire danger.

A lot of light output for the money!

Used in in table lamp (60w screw socket) in a small room with excellent improvement in illumination over a 24w (100w incandescent equivalent)
