Lovely, lovely shelves (I purchased four). Took a risk that they would be worth the money, but they are solid, the finish us smooth and even. My only criticism would be that the plugs for covering the mounting holes has inconsistent stain shades and some stand out from the shelf shade. A cautionary detail, whether you are buying the 4 1/2 inch shelf or the 3 1/2 shelf, thus is the overall dimensions, not the actual space you have to out something on the shelf. Actual working space is about 2" less than the entire dimension. So I'd to buy the 4 1/2 shelf, you could only out something no larger than 2 1/2 incheson it. Still a great quality shelf!

First, delivery came must faster than expected. It came within apx 4 business days. Second and most importantly, they look great. I purchased one of each size to hang over my couch and loveseat to display momentos of places my husband and I visited over the years. It looks perfect. The quality workmanship is something you just don't see anymore. The finish and color are excellent. They were a little more than I wanted to spend but once I saw them they are well worth the money. I will likely purchase more in the near future. Thank you for restoring my faith that there is still items out there that are made with pride, quality, craftsmanship AND made here in America!!

These are beautiful shelves. However, as many others mentioned, the pre-drilled holes are not always 16" apart. I measured the first one and it was perfect. So, we marked the walls, got out the drill and prepared for hanging. The first one went in perfectly. When we went to line up the second one, we realized that the holes were NOT spaced the same way. The 2 outer holes were 15" and 17" from the center hole rather than 16" each. So, I love how they look but wasn't happy we had to use wall anchors for the second shelf.

SO nice to have a well-crafted shelf. I researched many options and these were by far the best quality, a lovely cherry wood. I hung these two 3' long ledges on the wall in my kitchen and they look great and feel quite sturdy. Note: This is the deeper ledge, but it's still not quite wide enough to hold a bottle of wine.

I ordered two of these shelves. They are beautifully constructed and look great on the wall. I couldn't be happier. The distance between the screws that hold the shelves to our walls does not line up with the studs, but that's something I should have checked earlier. My husband anchored the center in a stud and used screw anchors for the other two screws. The shelves appear to be stable and secure.

Best quality shelf one can buy: very solidly built from solid cherry. I did not have any issues hanging it on the wall using supplied studs screws.The wood is finished to the highest standard, the shelf looks beautiful on my wall. Highly recommended!

I ordered two shelves the same length, 48". The shelves are beautifully made outstanding in appearance. My only concern is the three holes drilled in each shelf are not 16" apart, which is the standard stud separation. One shelf meets the 16" & the other shelf is off 1". It would also be nice to have the wooden caps that hide the screws be of the same color as the shelf. The caps are dark brown while the shelf is light brown.

These are very strong -- made from select hardwood. Since it's a natural wood color it goes with everything. The mounting holes are on 16 inch centers, which match the stud pattern. We are very happy with ours.
