Mid Century Wow Factor!
Although this did take a bit of time to put together, it was totally worth the work screwing in the individual metal rods. I love this light and it fits into my dining room perfectly. It looks really expensive, and I get many compliments on it. I also love that you can have dimmer bulbs and set the mood. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and would recommend this light to everyone. The gold is a soft muted color.

Awesome vintage style chandelier!
I love my new light!!! I just had an electrician replace my old ceiling fan with it and then I spent about an hour screwing in all the rods, but it was well worth it! Not hard to assemble, just time consuming. Seems well made with a satin gold colored finish and fits in with my mid century decor. Just waiting on the rest of my little star bulbs for it.

Awesome!
We're really enjoying this fixture! The finish is a gold paint and it looks vintage. The spikes are steel rods that thread into the center sphere, and are best installed after the fixture is hung. It's not that much weight, but I think trying to hang it and do the wiring connection stuff with the rods sticking out all around would be challenging. Also, one of the first lines in the installation instructions says to turn off the power. Of course, I did not, and since we wanted to make sure it worked as soon as I hung it, I installed one of the bulbs. Sure enough, the bulb lit up just fine. I unscrewed the bulb just enough to turn it off so I wasn't being blinded, started installing the 3500 rods (kidding) into the center sphere. Sure enough, even though things were going well, one rod got poked into one of the open bulb receptacles, made a bit of a spark. I got that know "I told you so" looks from my wife, turned off the light switch and reset the breaker. :-) Anyway, once it's all put together we think it's a really cool fixture, but be ready to spend quite a few minutes on a step ladder. And, while the item's picture shows a pronounced divide between the top and bottom rods, ours is not that big, and is not noticeable at all since you'll be looking up at the whole thing. Because we're old and like a bright light when we need it we used 60 watt equivalent clear LED in the teardrop shape. They look great, but we want to be able to dim the fixture and found the dimmer we had been using could not handle that many LED watts or whatever. So, you may need to get a new dimmer, looks like they're about $20.

The light is fantastic
Under power it is beautiful. Simply gorgeous. And I’m still in the process of putting it together. It is a lot of work to hand twist all the metal spikes. There must be over 300. The construction is great. We have tried other Sputnik chandeliers that were junk. The holes were very thin with poor threading and cheaply made. This unit has holes that have a deep threaded piece to screw into plus the metal with the metallic sheen is much better than the painted ones. The E14 bulb is an issue. It is a European size, and I have not been able to find a smart, Alexa, compatible, dimmable, and color tunable bulb for it.I ended up buying adapters to go from an US e12 male socket to a female e14.That gives for color control of the unit and just adds to its beauty. The bulbs that came with it are very bright and glaring, and distract from your view of the chandelier

Beautiful
Transformed my bathroom. Beautiful. I have 40 W in it and it’s too bright. I suggest less wattage. Hang first and then it’s a breeze

Returned
This piece is cool looking in the pictures, but it’s very wimpy in person. It came with several dozen pieces to put together and they don’t all connect right. We never could get it to look like the picture. I think there were parts missing.
