Beautiful!
This was not what I was expecting; it is so much better! This is the most beautiful blue, just gorgeous. And the feel of the fabric........oh, my. It does not feel or look like the cheaper flannel I am used to buying. I have not washed it yet. It may "fluff" up after that, but I love it just the way it is. This is going to make the most beautiful backing for a quilt. It is perfect for my intended quilt, just lovely. The feel is so tight and smooth. It seems more of a medium weight. This is not the thick and heavy type of flannel you find in heavyweight outdoor shirts, but it would make a gorgeous shirt or other clothing. The weave is tight; not loose. This more than met any expectation I had. I definitely will buy more of this fabric for future projects.Addendum: Washed beautifully. Width after washing 58 inches. Very little fraying. Tight weave. Lovely.
