The bearings are crunchy, the RPM control knob is cheap, and it's not all that quiet. But for $45 it's what I expected. The crunchy bearings are the only thing that really bothers me. Lube doesn't fix it, the bearings are junk

Retrofitted this onto a wood stove. It works well. Great deal for all the items included, however I didn’t receive a magnetic thermostat with mine, just the thermostat element that either has too be screwed or riveted into place, so I had to build my own magnetic holder forIt. This sucks cause the magnetic units are about an $8 value, versus $1 value for just the element. Other than that the kit is good

It says it comes with a magnetically mounted thermostat, and the images show correctly that item. However, it actually came with a screw mountable thermostat that is not appropriate for a retrofit. It's not the best idea to run 2 screws into the fire box and impossible to do for a fireplace that is already installed in the wall. However, the worst part is that the screw mountable thermostat's electrical connection terminals have a ¼” of exposed, uninsulated metal carrying 120 volts! I did not really appreciate this until it fell from my makeshift perch (no magnet) and shorted out the rheostat. This is dangerous! Clearly it does not meet the U.S. safety standards or UL labs certification. Avoid this product!

The fan price can’t be beat for what it is. It is a little noisier than expected (low hum when running on lower settings, fair amount of air movement noise when running on full), but I doubt it’s any louder than other fans. No bearing noises. My only real complaint is that I wish the temp sensor has independent wires that were heat resistant. Was too short to mount on the top, but I ended up not using it anyway.

I have an older model of wood burning stove. It has the option for a blower on back, but the official blower with housing is $350, which costs more than I paid for the used wood stove! Instead, I bought this blower and accessories, fashioned a housing from old metal, and now I have all the convenience and efficiency of a blower, and a fraction of the cost. The blower was easy to mount, easy to wire up, and has been working all winter. I love that I chose the package that included the adjustable fan control, and cold shut off switch. I can leave it on at a low speed, it goes out when the fire gets low, or I can up the speed when the fire is roaring and it's cold outside. I'm not sure how quiet the fan should be, but I'm not bothered by the sound. To me it sounds like saving money on heat, which is music to my ears. I'm very happy with this fan, and glad I made the purchase.

Purchased as accessory for ProCom Ventless Dual Fuel Gas Stove I purchased from AmazonFit with little manipulation. Noise is okay set about middle speed, very notable when on high.Had everything needed to install and operate.
