Mediocre colour and missing advanced settings in Home Assistant
The quality of these seems quite good, especially for the price, but you get what you pay for. The colour reproduction is mediocre, and quite dim for some colours. They're missing all of the advanced settings that you can access if used through Home Assistant, such as setting the state memory after power off, setting the fade time for on/off, etc. Also, whilst they're bright enough, their lowest setting is way too bright - they doesn't seem to be able to go below about 20% brightness.

Great white poor RGB brightness
Bought for outdoor ground lights. Great price and connected seemlessly to my Philips Hue bridge.Great white ambiance brightness but let down badly by the RGB brightness. Far far too dark to be useful to the point when switching from white to RGB it seems that it's turned off untill you look at the bulb itself. Shame otherwise they would be ideal.Rate 2 out of 5 because they are RGB bulbs and the RGB element is very poor.

Finicky, dim colors, bright whites
These bulbs are incredibly unreliable. Bought a bunch to save some money on buying hue bulbs.. BIG mistake.. even after successful pairing they intermittently lose their connection and become unresponsive. AVOID THEMEdit: the unreliability was solved by having some original hue bulbs in close proximity to these lights and now they're very reliable and responsive.. however now that ive used them for a short while I can say that when using these for white lights (any temperature) they are quite bright even when dimmed to 1%. The colors however are still quite dim on 100% brightness. My advice to future buyers: Only buy if you will use in the same room as your hue controller or other ORIGINAL hue lights. Buy one or 2 and see if the brightness is ok with you too before you commit to a set

Poor/Non existent documentation
While the the documentation states this works with things other that the tuya ecosystem there is zero documentation for this and support simply don't answer, I have these working with zigbee2mqtt but these bulbs appear to have issues with some co-ordinators, the sonof one works but a couple of generic zstack sticks cannot see these at all.As bulbs, fairly bright, seem to work well, they do sometimes go oddly purple if you set the colour to white over mqtt but only when given specific colour settings and changing the colour profile corrects this.

Stick with Hue
The rest of my house has Philips Hue bulbs but i bought these trying to save a few quid. Found out that they work really well with the Philips Hue system but the light they produce is no where near the same. I have them in wall lights, washing the wall with light but you can see the individual RGB colours on the wall instead of the colour you want to see. They do the job, but not comparable to Hue.

*NOT* Hue Compatible
Bought these lights to integrate into the rest of my Hue ecosystem as the amazon listing said they would be compatible.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the zigbee bulbs were found by the Hue app on installation, and set up appeared to go smoothly.During setup I noticed that the colours are a fair way off from the Hue bulbs - no problem, I thought, 16 million to choose from...However after about 30 seconds of playing with the settings, the current state of the bulb is lost, and a random colour assigned in the app instead. This doesn't change the bulb setting, but makes it impossible to know what state the light is really in - a key feature of Hue integration in my opinion. The only saving grace is that, if you're quick enough, you can save a scene to settings. This always gives you a way to recover to a known state. It's far from ideal, and I can see myself returning these shortly. You get what you pay for, should have gone with Hue!

They work ok
It has to be said that these do not work as well as Hue bulbs. But then again they are much more cost effective. We find that they don’t always respond to a command from our switches or the Hue app. They usually do… but sometimes they just don’t.

New to home automation using SmartThings - These were very easy to install
As a relative newbie to home automation, these have been my first smart bulb purchase. I am using a SmartThings hub and looking for products that are compatible. These bulbs arrived both quickly and installation was a breeze. Plugged the bulbs in, started the SmartThings app, searched by device and manufacture and they all installed together. In less than 5 minutes had all installed, configured and a couple of routines set up to turn all on and off as a group. I will be buying more bulbs for the rest of the house over the coming months.
