Be careful when purchasing. LED lights have a polarity, unlike regular incandescent bulbs. This one had the incorrect polarity for my lantern flashlight with the huge rectangular batteries with the negative post in the center so it would not work. It would work however, for a tube like flashlight with the cylindrical batteries if the batteries are inserted with the positive end up. It is of course no fault of the product that I didn't pay attention to this detail. I was so used to incandescent bulbs that it never dawned on me to think of it.
