I have never had a problem with pioneer and with how good of a price this stereo is I couldn't resist buying it and got great resolution no lagging at all great sound quality with plenty of sound options to choose from!

For the value it is at its great and works great. Connecting to the phone is really quick as long as you have the Bluetooth on, it will do 3 connection however, it will connect to last one playing. Overall very good performance and quality touchscreen is very well designed and reaction is quick too.

I just installed it yesterday in my old RAM 1500 work truck. It was super easy to connect to my iPhone with Bluetooth.

Make sure you have everything you need before the installation. The TY adapter/harness kit(s), plus whatever bezels or other accessories you may need.The hardest part was the wiring harness. Once you have whichever wires you need to connect, plug your laptop into the device and do a firmware update. In my older Lexus, the steering wheel functions only worked with that update.For those who complain about needing a USB cable for Apple Car Play, I ordered a small dongle that connects my iPhone to the radio without the need for the cable.The quality of the radio is awesome, sounds fantastic and that's with a 20-year-old Lexus standard speaker system. The sound was GREAT!! Bluetooth connected right away and you can listen to your iPod music or radio apps with Bluetooth. For CarPlay you need an iPhone USB cable (unless you get the adapter). Installation was pretty easy in my 2004 Lexus RX and we were up and running in under 3 hours most of that time being spent putting the wiring harness together. Performance on the screen can be a little laggy at times.Overall a great quality radio that's a welcome addition to my old car!
