I haven't tried anything really extreme on these yet, but they've held up fine during their first week or so to hot metal, straight out of the microwave plasticware, and assorted cold drinks. As mentioned, they do have a raised pattern (the two lighter blues are both thicker than the dark blue background) which I was a little worried about cleaning. I actually wiped one down with 91% alcohol without changing the color, though, and I'm guessing that pretty much any dish soap should do the trick as well. For a quick cleanup job, you should be able to just spray them down or run tap water over them. They're pretty thick and show no inclination to slide on the veneered particleboard desk mine is currently sitting on.The light blue is genuinely blue (I'd say the lighter blues are roughly Crayola sky and cornflower blue), so don't count on being able to match this with turquoise or aqua tableware which is what I was trying to do (mine is apparently on the "almost teal" end of the turquoise spectrum). That's the only reason they're not getting a 5-star review from me because otherwise they appear to be a quality product that I would recommend to others.

Wow, they look so much nicer in person than in picture. Also, they are made from this nice durable flexible rubber like material which gives it a nice feel. The dark blue color is the base and the lighter blue colors are actually slightly raised surface. I didn't realize this from the picture when I was buying them, and I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. They also stick lightly to our dining table, which makes it easier to keep the service bowls in one place. But the biggest advantage for us (when moving away from the regular cork material) is how easy it is to keep them clean. When we drop any food bits on these, we just rinse them with water and they are fresh as new ones. We are still holding on to our cork trivets for 'tougher' uses, when we take out really hot pots and pans out of the over. We don't want to torture these with really burning hot temperatures. We rather plan to use them on our main dining table when we have guests over. They will go well with our nice looking serving bowls. As someone else mentioned in their review, I have seen similar looking design elsewhere for almost 3 times this price. So this is great value for money. We may buy this and other flower design as housewarming gift for our friends.

I like the color combination on these trivets. They look better in person than Amazon pics. They are also very flexible, which I couldn't guess from the pics. They do give a nice designer look to our dining table when we have guests. And they are very easy to clean with just a quick water rinse. During our last 1 month use, I have accidentally dropped them a couple of time and was so glad that they were not made from plastic or ceramic (which would have damaged either my floor or the trivets themselves). They seem to be made from a very nice silicone kind of material with a nice raised effect. I like these so much that I am now thinking of getting matching design coasters from the same company.

Recently re-doing my kitchen in shades of blue and white. I am using the trivet as a spoon rest on my counter next to my stove. Colors perfect, durable rubber like material and easy to clean.
