Egg Slicer

Bought three types. This one, Kjfeoiye, works the best. Strong wires, should last a long time.Note: The Areer also works good.=====NO, NO, NO OXO will NOT cut Strawberries. Bought three types of egg slicers. The OXO, wires broke when I tried to slice the first Strawberry my cost 12.85 (Never tried on Eggs or anything else.)OXO Did not say this was for Strawberries, so I will not return. Will throw away.NOTE: also bought Kjfeoiye for 9.99 -- like this one the best. Stronger wires than the OXO. Also, Enamel coating. Works great on Strawberries.NOTE: also bought Areer for 6.99 -- this one works pretty good. Has bars instead of wires.Summary: of the three, the OXO was the worst. Super poor wires.Like the Kjfeoiye the best. Also like the Areer the second best. Will use both of these.

Has a good feel to it. Feels hefty and well cast. The wires are not loose or anything although I’ve only used it on about a dozen eggs so far. Nothing has come apart or broke and the wires have not stretched yet. The wires seem of a slightly larger diameter than previous slicers that I have had so maybe this one will last longer. It may not slice as effortlessly as the ones with the smaller diameter wires and may take a wee bit more effort but if that means that the wires will last longer, it’s definitely worth the trade-off. I have not tried it with any vegetables yet and probably won’t.

Quality, easy to clean, durable. If you are out searching for a egg slicer that is going to last, look no further. This isn’t your cheaply made slicer, this is awesome! We use it all the time and after going through two inferior plastic egg slicers I didn’t even have one for years. Just used a knife (which definitely isn’t as easy and doesn’t look as neat. Then I decided I wanted one again and found this. I am so glad I did! It really is quality and I would recommend 100%.

This is a solid egg slicer. Wires are pulled tight and sliced through the egg easily. It is heavy and feels of good quality. Will last many years if washed, dried and stored properly. I highly recommend.

I was very happy with the thickness of the wires. I cut up 2 hard-boiled eggs almost everyday. My last cutter had a wire break. The thickness of the wires makes all the difference in how long it will last. The rest of the frame is also very sturdy and an attractive white color. Also, it is much easier to clean than my last one because all surfaces are easily accessable.

My mom had the same egg slicer for like 35 years and then gave it to me, which my toddler broke within a year. That kid is now 17 and I have bought and thrown out at least 3 since then. They're always made of plastic with thin wires that break very easily. This thing is made of sturdy metal and has thick durable wires. I waited to do this review to make sure it wasn't also a piece of junk.

I love this egg slicer. The enamel coating and cut out design make it super easy to clean and the wires are strong. I like to dice a hard boiled egg for salads and by slicing in one direction and then turning the egg to slice in the opposite direction, I get the perfect dice every time. I highly recommend this slicer.

Over the years I bought many egg slicer’s That have failed me… They’ve rusted, bent, broke or wasn’t even sturdy enough to cut a boiled egg.This product is sturdy & well made. I am very pleased with my purchase & highly recommended!!
