I read the instructions. I followed the instructions and voila - my shower curtain rod was in place. So easy. So simple. I am impressed. No struggling to get the length correct or to get the curtain rod securely in place.

Follow the simple instructions for a tension rod that works well without drilling holes in the wall. There is also a tutorial on You Tube.

I ordered 2, one for each bath tub. Needed black matte. Perfect color. The first rod was extremely difficult to turn, I couldn't do it, then my cousin tried, nothing, her boyfriend tried, finally he got it to turn, but it was loose and would not install once you got it in place and you have to turn back the other way to lock it in place. We think it's broken. We didn't return it because I had thrown all the packaging away and it's an odd shape to ship back. It's just sitting in the garage. The other one did exactly what it was supposed to do and installed just fine. Seems to be staying up, although it is a guest bath and only one person has used it in 2 months. It hasn't loosened on its own and fallen down.

I should have paid heed to the bad reviews. I received mine today and it will not extend. How disappointing. I will ask for a replacement. If I am not happy with the results of filing a complaint and replacement request, I will complain to Amazon. I will not pay to ship this back ~ if I can be assured of a prepaid return label I will return it.

Great for putting up curtains in an apartment! I have a sliding door that goes out to my patio and it was big enough to where I could put two curtains on it to block out some of the sunlight on hotter days.

The colors pictured are not accurate. The nickel that I ordered looks exactly like the chrome. I needed "simple". This looks "cheap", instead.

Curtain rod was delivered quickly and it is just as stated. Not much to go wrong with this product, recommended if you need a new curtain rod.

I needed a longer than average rod for a temporary room divider and this was perfect! I paired it with some window drapes and it looked great!

I'm renting and the landlord refused to replace the shower rod (it was rusting and falling apart) so I bought this to use as a normal rod without the tension. I took the end caps off and just slid the rod into the previous shower rod's brackets that were already on the wall. Works perfectly.If all you need is something to hold up a shower curtain, the rod itself seems to be quite sturdy. Since I'm not using the tension part, I can't say how well that works, though.If anyone wants to use the this rod like me, it fit a 1" diameter bracket no problem.

As you can see I'm happy with the product. It arrived withing the week and since I needed a rod about 48 inches this rod is doubled up and insofar seems more sturdy. Easy to put in place, however it would have been great to have an extra set of hands. Enjoyed the colour options, however....when ordering every choice when it goes in your shopping bag gets identified as "White" ....as you see I wanted the offwhite/beige. I would have lived with getting the white, but I often am extremely particular with colour and the fact that there were colour options was a great deciding factor. What was shipped was the option I indeed wanted and as you see it is a perfect match with the tiles around the bathtub. I didn't want the industrial look of a metal and wanted the rod itself to blend in. Despite how nice the rod, I don't want it to be a focal point. It would be great if they fixed this, other products change up the colour as you order it in the description. If this was a sheet set I would have chosen a different company where I was positive I would get the colour I wanted. So, 100 percent happy with the product, not so happy with the ordering site for it.

My old shower curtain rod broke so I purchased this as a replacement and it does the job well. It's super easy to install.There are only two steps involved:1) Macro tightening: Turning the two bars to get the rod in place2) Micro tightening: Turning the inner rod's end piece (the knob touching the wall) to finely tune it tighter

quick delivery, good value and easy setup. Do not ridge in middle of rod as curtain hooks catch on the ridge

the product is so easy to use IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS (at first I did not, and frustrated myself a bit, once I read them, piece of cake!) the right end twists to hold it tighter in place. LOVE this product, fantastic you will be happy (only bad thing was it was sold out and took 10 days to recieve as they had to restock before fufilling my order but this just shows how good the product is and you can't beat this price)
