Kit was pretty easy to assemble, mount and connect, but coax cable is a bit flimsy and also does not respond well to cold (ie the plastic outer jacket can crack if bent at sub-zero temperatures). Signal boosting worked well and receives the station I was trying to get. Recommend the manufacturer change the coax cable spec to a require a more temperature-resistant plastic, which would cost very little. Overall, happy with this item.

Before installing this amplifier most of the weaker signals were between 2 to 3 bars out of 5 and the channels would intermittently break up. After installing this amplifier the weaker signals went down to 0 to 2 bars out of 5 and some of the channels disappeared altogether. Since when does an amplifier make signals weaker instead of stronger? The only reason for 1 star is because I can't give it a zero rating.

Je perdais des postes et la qualité de l'image et des sons étaient pire. Déçu du produit. Pourtant ma l'antenne n'a pas d'amplificateur. J'ai simplement retourner le produit.

The device worked really well for the first 9 days. On the tenth day, even though the device was up and running, I could no longer get any channels. So I removed it and installed my TV antenna directly to the television and sure enough the antenna was working fine. Too bad the device was not reliable.

The unit does not have the gain that it claims to have. Actually although it has a variable gain control : does not amplify . I think i should be reimbursed .
