PanacurC Canine Dewormer (Fenbendazole), 1 Gram, Yellow, 3 Count (Pack of 1)

Same exact item that my vet was charging me a lot more for. Quick delivery, secure, packaging and work just fine. I will definitely order this again.

I used this to treat a planaria outbreak in my fish tank. It's fish safe and shrimp safe, and pest snails won't be affected by it. But you have to remove mystery snails and nerite snails ahead of time and keep them out until all of the medication is gone. I dosed 0.15 g for a 10 gallon tank, so that would be 1.5 g for a 100 gallon tank. Dosed three times, 48 hours apart, though some people only have to do two doses. It killed all of the planaria, and I haven't lost any fish or cherry shrimp. I am now running activated carbon for a few weeks before I add my mysteries back in. There is an aquarium-specific version of fenbendazole as well, but there's no need to buy that--the active ingredient is all that matters, and this is much cheaper than the one advertised for fish.I recommend buying the small size of this that has one gram per packet, since a little goes a long way in a fish tank.

This product may deserve 5 stars because it seems to have worked really well in getting rid of the worms in my dogs. The only issue I had was that my dogs obviously hated the taste of the product. They did everything possible to avoid eating the food i sprinkled it on. Both of my dogs pushed all of the dry food that it was on on over to a corner of their dish and left it for dead, which really surprised with one of my dogs because he eats like hes in prison :) . I eventually figured out that heating up some green beans and stirring it into them passed the test and they took it down, but even then with some hesitation. I will buy this again because it appears to have worked well, and now i know the trick to getting them to eat it. I just hate to introduce new foods into their diet during a time they already may feel a little sick from meds. Hope this advice helps someone else out there !
