Asian Fit! good for wider heads
This helmet is a great alternative to the "Asian Fit" helmets from expensive brands like Smith and Oakley. What is Asian Fit? It simply means that the helmet shape is more circular rather than a narrow oval. It's wider ear-to-ear so the width almost matches the front-to-back length. So if your head shape is more like Charlie Brown's, then 'Asian Fit' may help you get a more comfortable helmet to wear all day.My 12 year old has a big round noggin and he always complained that most ski helmets squeezed his ears. The issue is that he has a very round head and most helmets are too narrow. When he just started skiing as a toddler, he used a Bauer lil sport helmet that was designed for hockey but also rate for skiing. I also had him in ice hockey and we went through a bunch of hockey helmets that were too narrow. The Lil Sport is ROUND and fits a wider head.Of course he outgrew that and over the years we have always had to make sure to try helmets in stores to get a good fit. In desperation, I once bought a helmet that was only a little tight but he thought he could live with. By the end of a full day skiing, his ears were really irritated. My lesson: anything that slightly irritates you in the store for 10 minutes will drive you nuts after 7 or 8 hours on the ski slopes.Internet purchasing was really dicey because most helmets are much longer front-to-back than they are wide ear-to-ear. But for the Wildhorn Drift, I read in one of the reviews that this helmet was good for a wider head and after eyeballing the product photos and deciding that it was indeed shaped rounder and wider, I chanced the purchase through Amazon. Not only is my kid's head round but its big for his age so after measuring his head as instructed, I purchased an Adult medium. It turns out to be a great fit. No issues with squeezing the ears after multiple long days on the slopes. The helmet is well built, comfortable, has good airflow control, a snap holder for the goggle strap, and looks good. No complaints... in fact compliments from my kid! As my 12-yr old now follows me down black diamond slopes, I feel confident that this helmet will provide strong protection for his head. This is a good purchase - especially if you are looking for a rounder "Asian Fit" shaped helmet.

Incredibly lightweight and comfortable
This company has really impressed me. I first bought a pair of WildHorn snow pants (after trying on several other pairs with “Prime try before you buy”). I liked them so much I bought this helmet and a pair of Roca goggles to go with it. The helmet is super lightweight. Compared to a Giro helmet I’ve tried, this helmet is in a whole other category. Feels half as light!!! And very comfortable. Not to mention the price for this (and any WildHorn) gear is very reasonable considering the amazing quality you get. Any time I need new ski gear, WildHorn will be my go to. Btw, the roca goggles are also awesome and go perfectly with this helmet.

Awesome Wildhorn Outfitters Drift Helmet and Roca Goggles
I have been skiing Eagle Point, Beaver, Utah, without a helmet, but my speed has increased to the point I was growing worried about hitting my head. I bought a Wildhorn Outfitters Drift helmet and Roca goggles. Awesome products! That's the only way to describe them. The helmet is stunningly light, sits tight in place, is really comfortable and has a simple vent/stay-warm slide lever. The backstrap holds those awesome Roca goggles in perfect position. The goggles have a large field of view and changing lenses takes seconds. I have ice blue lenses for sunny days and low light yellow lenses for cloudy/snowy days, and I change the lenses sitting in my car at the lodge with the goggles attached to the helmet. When I'm done for the day, I slide the goggles down into operating position to relieve the strap tension, slide the helmet with goggles into the Drift helmet storage bag, and drop it into my ski gear bag with gloves and neck warmer for safe storage for my next day of skiing. Oh and did I mention that the Drift helmet and Roca goggles are very affordable to boot, and they are very high quality. I expect to get years of service. AWESOME Wildhorn Outfitters ski gear.

Great helmet that WORKS!
This helmet probably helped save my life, at a minimum from some scary head damage. Lost it skiing and went tumbling clear across a snow run 75-100 ft into a snow gun at speed. I thought my chest took most of the damage, and didn't realize I actually hit my head against the gun until a few day later when I was putting away my equipment I saw all of the helmet impacts shown in the pictures. I immediately replaced the helmet and was glad I had it on, and that it was so resilient the day of my accident as I didn't even recognize with the Drift helmet that my head got knocked around like that! Thank you WILDHORN!
