I have never tried, but I don't think the material would be great to iron. It has a sort of plastic smell to it no matter how many times I wash it which I imagine as a polyester that would melt or scorch. If you try, I'd iron low, with steam, inside out.

Q: Can I put it in the washing machine?

I have washed it in cold, inside out in a net bag, and hung dry. It washed fine, but the plastic smell it has did not go away.

Q: On a scale to 1 to 10 how much would you say this really looks like stitch?

Actually it’s quite adorable. Likeness is very good. Everything about it rates an A+ except the tail. Hard as a rock and glued one, not sewn, which makes it even harder. Ended up cutting it off for my sons comfort. Was full of dirty quilt batting. Very gross. If you aren’t sleeping or sitting in it it’s awesome.
