I'm an adult who has had oily skin all my life. It probably helps me to look younger, but I still get an occasional blemish...particularly when I wear N95 masks for extended periods of time and perspire.I decided to give DermaKids salicylic acid treatment a try. I did not want anything too harsh, as my skin tends to be sensitive. This product is designed for sensitive skin, and it is designed for spot treatment...which is all I need.This product is a clear gel that pumps out of a 5" tube. It only takes a tiny bit. I put it on a blemish the night before last. When I woke up yesterday, the redness was gone from the pimple, and the pimple already looked like it was smaller and drying up. Because the redness was gone, I was able to easily cover it with my concealer. I used it again last night, and the blemish is almost gone now.A couple application tips for use: DermaKids is designed to be used on clear, dry skin. Also be sure that you wash your hands before and after using it. You want to be sure that you only use it on the spot you are trying to treat, as it will dry out the skin that you are using it on. Because of this, just a tiny dab will do the trick. With the small amount that is needed, this tube should last a long time.I had better success than I expected with this product on my first use. I would absolutely recommend that others give it a try also. 5 stars from me!

My niece has just started into the pimply stage. She was tryin to cover it with makeup which kept making it worse. It seems to be getting better with their system. This is the center piece for the whole system which is step #2 with the salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is the main ingredient that helps with pimples. It does a pretty good job at that.I would recommend starting with the whole kit to begin with. Then usually one will empty out faster than the other so as that happens you just buy the one you need.Step #1 is to clear out all oils and dirt.Step #2 is the active medicinal part.Step #3 is a lotion designed to work with / not interfere with the salicylic acid creamMuch better than we used to do when I was the same age.Good idea 2 thumbs up.

Let me start by saying that I ordered the entire 3 step system of the DermaKids line. My son is 13 and was breaking out in horrible acne, plus he was making it worse picking and popping everything. This skincare routine is EVERYTHING for him, it has made an unbelievable difference and quickly. Within days, his acne was almost gone and his skin looked amazing. The serum in particular is the most active of the 3 steps, the most important probably, and has a light fresh scent and is a gel that absorbs completely without leaving your skin sticky or dry. A little goes a long way. We absolutely recommend this as well as the rest of the line, and have already recommended it to several others.

We got this as part of a skin care set. My daughters are 10 & 12 years old. This is a Great set for introducing skin care to kidos. They are big into makeup but not so much on the washing and caring for their skin. This set is a great way to introduce skin care to them. The products smell great and leave their skin feeling refreshed and bright. I like that they are mild and made responsibly with no harsh chemicals - safe for young skin & eyes. The face wash foams up well and rinses clean away. The lotion is light, smells fresh and leaves their skin refreshed & hydrated but no greasy. The spot treatment is great - effective and quick acting. Very nice products.

What an amazing serum designed for my tween! Her oily skin has been resolved. Her blemishes and imperfections have faded, as they lose their appearance. Even that one cruel pimple that has been her “party pooper” since age twelve, has lost its desire to show up and out of nowhere just to ruin her first day in junior high school. This serum has made me my daughter’s new BFF… sorta!

I have to be careful what I use, and was happy to order this. I have mature aging sensitive skin that every now and then goes through a breakout. This arrived much sooner than expected. I am using the salicylic clarifying serum right now, on a hard cyst like zit that popped up near my eyebrow. It didn't burn or sting at all and so far hasn't dried out my skin. I am happy to have this.

This works well. Once a zit comes, I apply this and a day later, the zit is gone. This does not burn my sensitive skin, and has a mild scent. Perfect for adults like me, and gentle enough for our teenager. Highly recommended!

I have stubborn acne on my chin and this did the trick! The smell isn’t overpowering and the bottle is easy to use. I like that it’s a pump compared to a squeeze bottle so I can really see how much I am using. A good quality serum!
