I found these looking for a solution to another problem. The Ethernet jack lights on the back of my TiVo Roamio lit up the wall behind the unit in my bedroom. I’d lived with it for a long time, but had been considering several options to “turn off” the light show. I finally decided that some sort of soft washer might work, but they had to be the right size.These came up in a search somehow (I didn’t even know that these existed to modify game controller stick behavior), but the hole seemed to be the right size to fit over the end of the Ethernet cable connector snuggly and the ring looked broad enough to potentially block the lights, so I ordered them.It took a little experimentation with where to position the “washer” (it was only about 95% effective at blocking all the light), but I was almost there. There was a trade off between how the light was blocked with the washer positioned further forward or further back on the connector. The final solution, use a second one so that both positions were covered. That finally did the trick; lights 100% blocked!Unfortunately, once the Ethernet port lights were blocked, I can now see the light leaking onto the wall from the TOSLINK optical audio jack. Time to think of another clever solution.Not sure if anyone who needs to solve my problem will ever see this review, but just thought I’d put it out there.

ok, if you have huge hands, muscled up an can crush walnuts, you'll make good use of the very high resistance cushionsif youre fairly normal.. well.. even the "middle weight" ones are extremely firm.i ended up stuck using only the weakest/lightest resistance, as i could barely move the joystick with these on..again, if you have your controller set up for almost NO movement, you might get value from these. they seem robust.. but, just too firm in general for ME..i really wanted a 4th option, between the softest and the middle one.. but.. oh well.

For one, I find that these set of rings are sturdier, as well as you receive a large quantity of them compared to the variety pack from Kontrol Freaks where you only receive 6 rings and for 3 dollars extra. I would say that the ring with the lightest tension in this pack isn't even worth using. It's like some flimsy piece of velcro feels like. But, the other two rings (gray and black) really do the job. Pair that with some extended thumb grips and the performance of the controller completely changes.

If you’re gonna buy rings buy them from control freaks I have a ps5 n these were too big and hard I couldn’t even more my joystick right. Quality over quantity.
