Great Socks
I've had these socks for a month or so now. Only worn them a few times, but they are very comfortable and worn well thus far. Since my hiking trip got postponed due to weather, I have worn them while doing the yard work as something of an outdoor test where nature would be hitting against my legs. They held up fine, I didn't have any issues with the nature that was forcibly sent in my direction, feet were well whicked form moisture, and they washed from it all very well.I liked them so much that I picked up a pair of the orange ones for my get home bag.Highly recommend as a thinner, cheaper, and NOT made in China alternative to the Darn Tough wool socks (which are also GREAT socks for colder weather).

My favorite socks
I absolutely love these socks! They come in a small size which is incredibly helpful since I wear a woman’s size six shoe . They are incredibly comfortable and temperature regulating.. no sweaty or stinky socks or shoes . I enjoy the brown, green and red colors. PERFECT everyday ,all seasons !!

Warm, comfy, affordable
Socks that fit perfectly, none of that stretchiness in heel area like so many of the women's wool socks do when putting your foot into your shoe. So far I am 100% happy with these socks. The green pair which I chose are very comfortable with cushioning that runs from the toe to the footbed thru to the heel area.with the rest of the sock a regular thickness. These socks are amazingly warm without being hot and making my feet sweaty. I washed my socks inside out for the first time and am currently air drying them. They appear to be just like new, if there are any problems I will update my review, otherwise I strongly recommend the comfort, fit, style and price of these socks!

Good product - with caveats
This is a well performing hiking sock. I did test this product out on a strenuous 14 mile, 4500 ft elevation gain hike in warm climate. It does what it says - it did not generate any blisters. However, there is a caveat associated with that statement....As others, and I myself, have noted, these socks run somewhat large. As any hiker knows, loose fitting socks rub and cause ... blisters! I therefore did what the manufacture cautioned not to do - washed them warm and put them in a dryer, causing shrinkage. And shrink they did - but now fit perfectly. I am a size 10 1/2-11 based on hiking boot sizes, and used their 9.5-12.5 Mens size. You may be able to make it work buying one size down - but there is an issue with the sizings offered by the manufacturer. The next size down is 6.5 - 9.5. That's quite a big step and likely leave you with a sock too small. Note to the manufacturer: offer more intermediate sizing ranges please! On the other hand, shrinking them to fit now leaves the socks invulnerable to further shrinkage , should you ever drop them accidentally into the dryer. Which invariably happens eventually anyway....So I am good with that.Other than that the sock is great. Good padding under heel and ball of the foot, very (!) comfortable to wear, and performs well in warmer climates, keeping your feet dry without overheating as other wool socks often do. Plus I like this company's philosophy as outlined on there webpage.I bough a few more pairs. With the caveats mentioned above I can recommend this product. With a bit more sizing selections to ensure a better fit for everyone ( I got lucky that it turned out for me...), I'd give them 5 stars.

Perfect Socks!
"These socks, are by far, the most comfortable and best fitting I have ever worn. . . mom, can you buy me a few more pair before they go off sale?" My son is a junior in HS - an avid hiker and outdoorsman and is extremely particular about what he puts on his feet. He is forever on a quest for the perfect sock, both in fit and comfort. Well, needless to say, we hit the jackpot with these! He wears a size 11 medium width in men's shoes, and these fit well. . .room for more stretch, and if you have smaller feet, he said it would be great too because of the stretch construction. Padded in all the right places, great moisture wicking material, breathable, and super soft. Get these! You will LOVE them! (we would love to see gray, blue colors as well :) Thank you Danish Endurance - I'll be buying for the Hubs too!

Everything you want in a hiking sock
Just back from a Kilimanjaro trekking trip. Our guide suggested we separate one pair of socks specifically for summit day; I set these aside in a ziplock bag. It poured on us days one and two and I was grateful to have saved this pair as nearly everything in my pack was soaked. These socks were awesome. My feet were warm and dry, even after an eight hour trek up to Uhuru Peak (19,340 ft and quite chilly). Boots were classic Merrell Wilderness (circa 1995) with no insulation or winter lining. The socks did all the work and performed flawlessly. Highly recoomend.

If you are going on a 5+ mile hike, BUY THE MERINO WOOL SOCKS. Your piggies will thank you.
Okay seriously. Did anybody else balk at the thought of spending $9 on a single pair of socks?? Most expensive socks ever, you thought, maybe you could do without. If you were like me and looking to hike ~24 miles in 2 days, NO. YOU CANNOT DO WITHOUT.I hiked to Havasu Falls this past weekend with 6 other people. Only 1 other person had merino wool socks while the other 4 wore regular socks. Each of the regular sock wearers got 8+ blisters while I was completely sweat free, blister free, and subsequently, pain free.As for these socks themselves, I don't have any other wool sock to compare it to, but they were really comfy and stylish (I got red ones). They were nice and thick and I would buy these again for future long hikes.

used to be a 5 star product…shrinkflation struck!
I’ve bought my husband two sets of these socks every year for 5 years. He loves them. He just told me that this year pairs are two inches shorter than all the others. They are now spring socks, not winter and they are not tall like the picture. He says the quality is the same otherwise. I hate it when companies see how low they can go (in this case, quite literally) and still get money. Back to the drawing board but I will also reach out to the company.
