Amazing little gadget
The 2 things I needed were:USB-3 (check)Powered (check)This does both jobs especially well. The SD card slots are also sturdy and seem to work well. I've been using this daily to make backups of dashcam footage.I haven't yet seen any drawbacks.

well built, USB buttons allow to turn off my camera (privacy) -- nice!
the aluminum housing seems sturdy. It comes with both USB-C and USB-A adapters (to the USB 3.0 Type B connector on the dock device). Initially, the external keyboard was not working. I tried two different ones, both connected and then disconnected. It turned out that the fresh Win11 without any recent updates was the problem. After a Win11 Software Update, and after all Lenovo updates, the keyboards work flawlessly. I like the on-off buttons, very helpful to turn off my external camera for privacy, very nice.

Extra Ports Good, Shutting Down Bad
This USB Expander works very well and turns off the individual ports with a push of the button. However, this unit itself stays on when the computer and other peripherals are turned off. I'm not crazy about that feature as I like everything to shut down when I'm done for the night.

Decent powered hub, light weight but works and responsive
Good hub, wide range of USB-C connections and it is powered, so power draw on multiple devices shouldn't be an issue.

Works ok but memory card slot broke.
The item worked fine for USB usage but I recently started using the memory card reader and the slot broke. A little piece of plastic came off and now when I insert a memory card there’s a good chance that it can go in at an angle and fully enter the device. Like, the memory card can just slide in there and rattle around the inside of the device.

Easy setup, Solid unit
The instructions that come with this are perfect. Even covers issues with 2.4ghz wireless mice. Very insightful to add known issues. Product works great and all my devices work without a hitch. Unit gets slightly warm but nothing crazy like other hubs (Targus) that can cook an egg on them with the heat they produce. This unit is sleek, small but not too small that you can’t get plugs in or out. I recommend it highly.

Works Great For Me!
For some reason I've had several card-reader/USB hub failures recently. Junky power supplies? Poor connector internals? Who knows? This unit replaced a similar one from a different manufacturer, and works great. Reads cards, has enough horsepower (electrically speaking) to get a quick phone charge while running external USB drives.

Quality unit w/ good speeds and inoffensive LED brightness
You get what you paid for. Having ordered, then returned, a cheaper USB hub, I sought out this powered hub (meaning one power cable and one USB 3.0 device cable coming out of it; options for USB-A and USB-C, which is appreciated) and am impressed.Construction: Its metal chassis has a quality feel. In general, its design is well thought out. The USB ports have enough space between them to accommodate larger/novelty USB sticks. Could've used little rubber pads or similar along the bottom, but that's probably just me.Power saving: There are buttons and LEDs beside each of the six ports. Tap the button to turn on the port and corresponding LED. Hold the button to turn it off. Less vampire-draining of your power while the ports aren't in use.Transfer speeds: I didn't benchmark them for this review, but speeds are comparable to in-unit USB ports and card readers. The idea of waiting 9 minutes to transfer an SD card full of photos sounds much better than 21 hours, which is what my previous hub offered.Inoffensive LEDs: My biggest hesitation was the fact that this had typically piercing blue LEDs on it. I'm so glad I pulled the trigger to learn that they're meant to be informative, rather than in your face. Depending on your lighting environment, you may have to squint or shade the hub to see which ports are on or off, but I'd much rather that than be blinded by a power indicator or put electrical tape over the lights.

Neat, well designed USB hub, but lacking instructions and a bit slow to pick up new items
I like the sleak design of this hub, and the ability to turn on or off individual ports is neat, but there were no instructions so it took me awhile to realise you had to hold down the on/off button for 2 seconds before it activated. Also, I use it as part of a KVM switch setup, moving between two computers, and it seems to take longer for the hub to switch to the new computer than my old hub. That said, throughput is much better than the old hub which was using USB 1.0 and the new hub has not failed or crashed, so that's an improvement. Generally, recommended.

Review for the Visually Impaired
People with a visual impairment who are unable to see the product description, please be warned, while the connection to the computer is USB-C, the six ports are USB-A and B, so if you're looking for a multi-port USB-C hub, look else where. I have to say, this is the most sturdy USB-A hub I've ever used, and it feels like good quality and craftsmanship. As I said, the only downside would be a better description in the product description section to specify the specific ports available on this unit, as I have plenty of USB-A ports, but not USB-C ports, which is what I originally wanted..
