Serviceable, cordless, can use on wire stand
The best features of this one are that it's small enough to fit in your case, and it will work if you are using a wire stand. It is rechargeable, and gives decent light. That said, the charged/not charged indicator light gave out after ~ 7 months. It still charges & works - but the little light indicator on the side is dead.

So far: an excellent, light weight, easy-to-store product!
I used this light at a gig as a music stand light (which is what I purchased it for) a couple of days after it arrived. It already had a substantial charge, but I plugged it in before the gig, so I could ensure that it had a full charge. Four hour gig, and it was still bright at the end of the gig (at the brighter of the two settings).I appreciate the fact that I don't have to remove batteries from the unit to recharge them like I have had to do with previous LED music stand lights I have owned - simply plug the USB cable in. I also really like the fact the the whole unit folds into a very small, easy to carry, light weight package (which will make it easy to pack in my carry-on luggage when I go on tour (several of the venues I have performed in have had poor, or extremely cumbersome, old-fashioned music stand lights - and at least one didn't have one at all). This light is also light enough to clip onto a music binder without causing it to fall over.My only potential issue with the light at this point is the switch, which doesn't feel terribly sturdy and doesn't seem to have a firm slot for each setting (high, low and off). On a good note, the switch does not accidentally turn on (it is a sliding switch) like I have had happen with my other two LED stand lights while they were stored in my bag, thus draining all the batteries prior to a gig.

Works when plugged in to charge!
The light is steady (flicker-free) with a cool-white (bluish white-- as opposed to warm/yellowish)-- like a florescent bulb in terms of color. It is not a very bright light, but is a big improvement over the 1 or 2 LED lights that mighty bright sells. It is a nicely diffuse light that covers the entire stand evenly. It does run for about 6 hours at the brightest setting. The design is clever and build seems pretty rugged. The light bars themselves swing out of their folded position, but they don't swivel, so the angle the light must be adjusted at the other joints.I was relieved to discover that the light DOES work perfectly when plugged in for a charge (even when the built-in battery is fully depleted). The instructions say the charge indicator light will give a steady green light when the charge is complete. My unit did not do this. Instead, the light just goes out. This is kind of useless.. An OFF indicator could be telling you lots of different things: Your light is fully charged, your light never charged, your charger is dead, your light is dead, your light is half-way charged but your powerbank died, etc. I contacted their customer support about this, and they responded quickly. They said the charge indicator would shine steadily, briefly, then shut off. For mine, that was not true. It just shut off.Another reviewer mentioned that edge of the light is shaped in such a way that it kind of shines in your eyes. That is also true. I cut two thin strips of aluminum tape, and neatly covered that edge-- that was an easy fix.I'm fairly happy with the light. I give it three stars because the light leak, and charge indicator issue should have been fixed in beta testing.

Rechargeable Clip On LED Book Light & Folding Music Stand Light VERY BRIGHT
Bought this to replace an existing LED light for my Music Stand, and it is MUCH brighter than the one I had. Very compact in that if folds in upon itself, and no way of accidentally turning itself on and running the battery down.

Small in your bag, big on the stand
While not quite as bright as my Mighty Bright orchestra lamp, it's far more compact and needs neither batteries nora long cord to plug it in. Love that it's rechargeable! As others have pointed out, some light shows from the front (in your face) and to the rear (at your fellow musicians or the audience). It doesn't bother me enough to put tape on it. I wish I could congratulate the person (or team) who designed this. I am adding that the first one I bought failed after a few uses. I either broke the on/off switch or damaged it by charging it with a power pack. I like this product so much, and it's price is so small, that I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it. I simply trashed it and bought another, which is working fine.

The light arrived quickly (as indicated) and folds up as indicated. This size has an advantage over many of the the lightsdue to it's compact size when folded as it fits in a gig bag pocket. There is one slight "issue" - when a musician puts other lights on a standit is common to level the top portion of the light so it does not show light towards the musician nor towards the audience. The way the actuallights are situated on this light, there is a thin portion (approximately 1/4 inch) of the lamp showing. This is more of an irritation than areal problem.

Excellent Music Stand Light!
Seriously, I love this LED light on my music stand! It holds a charge for almost six (6) hours of continuous use, however, I rarely need it for that length of time. Only issue I have with it, which is a minor one to me, is that you CANNOT charge the light while it is in use. If you need then function then look for something else. What it does very well is that is folds up to a very small package that can be put in your music case for portability. The light as two brightness settings, which does come in handy on occasion. It charges quickly and retains the charge while not in use.The light is perfect for a music stand and/or reading, although it might be a bit weighty clipped onto a book.

Great product, great shipping
Only used it for one gig, so far. Great product, great shipping. Only minor complaint in the design...the front, side edge of the light (facing my face) is not shaded and shines in my eyes. Had to place a strip of black electrical tape across that facing edge. Now it's fine. They should have accounted for that design flaw and addressed it. My older plug-in has that edge shaded. Other than that it's a very good light...easily recharged and folds up small in seconds. Fits small into my gig bag. THANKS!
