Easy to use, lights are perfect, not to bright or dull. Put them around my indoor plants to give a nice ambiance.

VERY bright string of lights. I have several around the house that I bought from different vendors. These, however are unusually BRIGHT. My others that I’ve bought through the years have been more subdued and softer looking. I put these around my master bedroom headboard and they make the entire room light up, which is good if that’s what you’re looking for. I use them so I don’t need (lights on) in my bedroom while I’m watching movies or listening to music or whatever. (Neighbors can look right in your home wherever your lights are on) so I love these little guys. This picture was taken in pitch darkness after three weeks of having them up for an hour to two hours. It doesn’t show well in the picture because the flash was on but they’re really okay. They work well and I’ve had them for about 3 weeks. I can see that they’re getting a little dimmer so I’m estimating that I’ll have to change batteries every couple of months, and even faster if you forget to turn them off. Batteries most likely don’t last unless you buy a timer. If you’re looking for “mood” or soft, lights, these won’t fit that description. No timer either, which is a bummer. These take 3 double A batteries, unlike others, that only need 2AA or 2 AAA. I had to take one star off for the gluttonous use of batteries. Update: I left them on after I fell asleep for a few nights and they’re still going but very dim now. Great lights but it would be nice if they had a timer. I can buy one, no big deal.

We saw these lights on display at our daughter’s house, on a tiny Christmas tree. My wife loved them.These are nice and bright, and very compact. Only is while trying to open the battery case, from directions on the lid, I cracked it. I slid it open like it asked but the plastic is so thin, I guess I pressed too hard. It didn’t break into but only cracked so it is still useable.You’ll like these. Just be extra careful when sliding the cover open, not pressing down or it will break.
