I was very excited about receiving this based on the views, however after my experience with this item I'm concerned Amazon might be buying the reviews. The item in question wouldn't charge unless I was in the car, in fact when I tried to use to wall outlet to charge it, the item started leaking from the outlet and smelt like battery acid. Honestly I'm confused and disappointed. Maybe I just got a bad one.

I like the size of the screen and the way it displays. The only problem I had was with the instruction booklet. The print was very hard to read as the print was so tiny. I even used a magnifying glass. But overall, really do like the product.

This item says it comes with free lifetime map updates and the owner's manual has a website where it says the free map updates are available, The best I could find on that website was an offer of $428 a year for updates, NOT FREE, one item says get dems, which I took to mean get your unit updated for free this once, NOT - it just jumped back to the offer of $428 for updates. This unit did not have the addresses for the people who I wanted to visit, and with no updates available, it was totally no good to me and I was forced to return it and buy another unit for twice the cost, hoping their units updates will be available.

It's a good device, easy to operate, I have never had one before, I have always used a phone, but with this navigator it's much more convenient. I like that it has a shield, and the sun doesn't blind the screen off. the instructions are pretty easy, so even a person like me can set the device in personal preferences. Overall - easy to use, good price, light, accurate, convenient navigator.

First the big screen was wonderful. Seemed easy to use but would have been nice with better hand written directions but by just playing around one is able to figure out most things. Touchscreen was very responsive and seemed pretty accurate with road maps. Wish there was an easy way to update. My biggest concern was that it would take a long time picking up the satellites at least in the morning and evening. Decided to return it but overall great product.
