Perfect product for those who need it
If you have a sport-bottle with a straw (either a reusable amusement park bottle or one of the many "keep cool" products with a removable or integrated straw), you may fret over how to clean them. I know I did. Really, the only way is to flush water through them and hope that is good enough.I hate having single-purpose items in my kitchen, but I am willing to make an exception for this. It does exactly what you expect: It fits through most straws and cleans them. It works very well, and (in my humble opinion) is well worth the money. Size-wise, it can fit through a diameter a little smaller than a pencil (so a drink-box straw wouldn't support it), and can be used with much larger straws, of course. One caveat: the wire is flexible to a point, and can even go around a slight bend in the straw, but you can't use this for a twisty-straw (krazy-straw). To be honest, I'm not sure I could picture a product that would work for those, but I don't want to steer people in the wrong direction. But if you have a straight or mostly straight straw, integrated or seperate, metal, glass or plastic, and want to clean it, this is your best option.

Perfect!
Excellent straw-cleaner! I bought this to clean the straws on my water-bottles (mainly this one: Trudeau Cool Off Hydration Bottle in the 24-ounce size) and it is perfect! The straw on this particular bottle actually can be taken apart into 2 pieces, but it is still impossible to clean all the way down into the longer straw without some kind of thin brush - and if you don't clean them regularly, they get gross inside! This brush cleans all the way through long straws, does a great job, and doesn't seem to scratch my straws the way some reviewers have commented... maybe that depends on the kind of plastic/rubber/etc. used for the straw (?) The brush is even longer than it needs to be, which is fine - better than too short to do the job! It seems sturdy and well-made, so should last quite a while. I like that is has a loop so you can hang it up near sink - handy!I think this will definitely prolong the life of my sports water-bottles, and their straws. Highly recommended.

Good Product, Poor Delivery
It is one of the sturdiest and solid straw cleaners. I bought it as gift for my mother.Once again, Amazon sent it poorly packaged. It did arrive slightly damaged; the metal part was bent. So, I gave her my old one, since it was it perfect condition, and took the new damaged item delivered by Amazon.

Much better than a wire coat hanger and wadded up paper towel bits...
You may think I'm joking, but I'm serious. I looked at the straws that are in my sports bottles and decided I wasn't going to use them anymore for fear of giving myself some serious illness from the bacterial gunk that was inside the straws in them. I got a wire coat hanger and made it into a ram rod of sorts and then wadded up some paper towel bits and rammed them through the straws to clean them out. To my own credit, this worked, but was a hassle and took several tries with several wads of towel bits to get it clean.I seriously had no idea that a product like this existed, but am glad I found it. I was using a wire coat hanger and wadded up paper towel bits to clean my sports bottle straws... This is MUCH better. This brush works really well, is the perfect size to clean the straws properly, and is reasonably priced and well made. Having an actual plastic handle on it is nice also.

Great
This product is very long, longer than I expected. Had I measured out the length then I would have known. But wow, does it work. I just recently moved my little ones up from little kid cups to the new acrylic cups and reusable acrylic straws and of course was concerned how I would clean the soy milk and apple juice out of those long straws. This product is a must. It works and it has a little loop to hang. I just put a thumb tack above the dish rack in my kitchen and hung it right there next to the sink. It works great and is nice and handy when I need to clean the straws.

Great brush for cleaning reusable straws!
After purchasing large, reusable straws (the ones that fit in the Aladdin To-Go Tumbler) I had some difficulty finding an appropriately sized brush for cleaning. I tried other types of brushes and pipe cleaners that ended up being: too short (not long enough for the straw, leaving me guessing as to whether the middle was clean or not), too narrow (could not easily clean the inside of the straw in one motion), or too wide (would not fit in the straw). Then I purchased this brush, the Brushtech Sports Bottle Straw Washing Brush, and it is amazing. I can easily clean straws of any length! The bristles are arranged perfectly for this task. The handle is comfortable and I can hang it from a hook in my kitchen (my other brushes lack a good handle for this purpose, they always end up in the sink :/ ). I highly recommend this product.

Perfect brush to clean the inside of resusable straws!
I've been searching high and low for the right brush. I purchased several Bent Handmade Glass Drinking Straws. The glass straws are wonderful! They tinkle nicely against my tall glass mugs and make drinking iced drinks more pleasurable. Only problem is that they are long and I couldn't clean deep down inside of them. I then discovered this brush which works perfectly! Like the other reviewer, I wish there were more bristle at the end of the long wire. However, the two inches of bristle still does the job well. My glass straws are now always sparkly clean, inside and out!

Expensive, but works great!
I have had the Brushtech Sports Bottle Straw Washing Brush for about 2 years now. I am very pleased with the product itself, as it cleans all my reusable straws easily and thoroughly. I have tried various other straw brushes, but they were either to short, too fat, or just got stock in the straw itself. The Brushtech is by far the best straw washing brush. It is 18" long, which makes it difficult to store, but long enough to clean your straws thoroughly. The brush head itself is only 1.25" long, but still gets the job done easily. My only complaint is the packaging it came in (and yes, shipping was WAY more than the brush itself). It came in a USPS envelope, which was too small for the brush. Therefore, when I received it, the brush head was poking out of the corner of the envelope and was damaged.
