It’s that GREAT!
This arrived yesterday and I had to leave a review this morning because it is that GREAT! My 10 yr old Pekingese injured her back last year and has a bit more trouble getting on and off the sofa. I previously had steps and they worked fine but got damaged last week so we needed something new and as I shopped I was grumbling about buying another $30 step when I ran across this at $60+ and scoffed. I actually liked the colors so I looked closer thinking I wouldn’t pay that but as I looked at the thought in the design, the gripping for my pet that it seemed the top fabric would provide, the rubber pads on bottom to help it from sliding all around and the smoother transition with its ramp/step combination design and firm but pillow core, I thought this could be really good for her. No more hopping the shallow steps we had previously which seemed to me might even be harmful to her back. I bought it (for the baby of course) and hoped for the best. Ya’ll it’s awesome. Every part of the design works just as it seemed it would and I have no doubt it’s better and more comfortable for her to use. She took to it immediately, where she had steps for months and never seemed comfortable with them. It’s well made, very easy to put the cover on which has a full wrap around zipper so it can be removed for washing easily. I didn’t really pay attention to the dimensions so it’s not as tall as I thought it would be but still a perfect transition for her. I’m very happy, glad I spent the extra money, it’s definitely worth it and seems very quality in materials. Kuddos Topmart on this product and a big thanks from my Bella!

It Going to Work!
I have a Teacup Yorkie. 4lbs. Pur based this one because I wanted something understated. Not a massive set of steps in the room. This is just like the foam mattresses that come in the box. Do not be surprised. It takes about a day and a half to fully expand. I put the cover on before it completely expanded. I am satisfied. The cover is a pleasant surprise. Like a corduroy material. Sturdy. Doesn't look cheap. A tad loose fitting. Finally got my dog to go up the ramp but have to convince him to use it to get off the couch. I worry about his back health (long term). Thus ramp ain't the prettiest or the most fancy but it does the job. I'm satisfied!

Don’t feel like these are worth the price
I bought two sizes of these stairs of my 6 lb Yorkie mix. The two step stair is functional, but not high enough for what I need. I ended up putting it next to my dog’s crate, because she like to jump onto the window sill to look out. She doesn’t use it where I’ve put it. She used it when it was in front of the kennel, but then it was a tripping hazard for the humans, lol. It was easy to assemple and much softer than the hard plastic stairs, but I think it’s pricey and don’t think I’d buy this again. She uses the three step most of time, because it’s positioned in a better location. She uses it to get up onto the couch. I had originally bought it to use next to our bed, but it wasn’t near high enough. The larger the stairs, the higher the price. So I’ll shop around to see if I can find a more reasonably price set that will fit next to our bed. In addition, this set didn’t plump up to completely fill the cover (the two-step did). I have to occaisonally readjust the cover so there aren’t annoying and hazardous puckers on the steps. The black was a mistake!! It shows every speck of dust and dirt and the dirt clings to soft cover. I should have gone for the gray, but I believe they were more expensive.

Very Poor Design!
When I received this item I couldn't believe how poorly it is constructed. The top step isn't a step at all. It is a steep slope. I thought it was defective and contacted the seller, including this photo. I was informed that the slope is intended to offer comfort for a dog's joints and the photo does not indicate that the item is defective. Really??? The entire piece is constructed of foam so it could not be harmful to a dog's joints. However this steep slop is a dangerous. My little dog cautiously figured out how to ascend the steps but was understandably afraid to descend due to the very poor design. The steep slope doesn't make any sense. We have quality pet steps leading up to our bed in our primary home and our dog has always used them easily. I purchased this item for our second residence with a lower bed. It was clearly a mistake. I would not recommend this product.

Not good
I bought for my aging dog to get up in my lap. I took it out of tge package and it was totally mis shaped. The memory foam has not come to the shape to fit the cover correctly. It does not sit squarely on the floor or fit tge cover snuugly so it is hard for my little dog to get his balance.

Great little ramp!
For under 25 lb pets this product is we'll designed, attractive and is perfect for our configuration. Trixie can use the ramp to get from the floor on her crate to sleep, or continue from crate top to her bed in my big bed. Yes this old gal is spoiled rotten at 13 yrs. Young puppy chewers or cat claws could rip the fabric on these stairs. An older dog will be grateful to use it to ease arthritic joint pain to get up where the action is..

Perfect
My dog had a slipped disc which required surgery. She was unable to get on the couch because she can’t jump anymore. She loves this step. She can now get on the couch by herself.
