No, I do not have a hamster! LOL! I ordered the small Santa set for my 9 lb Chihuahua mix with a 9 inch neck, and the hat would fit a hamster (or a large bird), not a dog or cat. The collar is way too big for a small dog w/ short legs. Though she does look cute, She'd be tripping over it. I'll see if it fits my mom's dog or a friend's dog since it's not worth the trouble of returning it. I've been searching for one of these cute festive jester style collars for the holidays for my little Chi. It goes over the head just fine, but the proportions are way too big for a small pet. Besides the proportions, being off, it is really cute & well made. The small collar would fit a dog w/ a 12 inch neck or smaller (I measured the opening).

The poncho, very soft, very kitty friendly if your cat rubs up against objects, it can get caught on be because us be responsible for your pet. The hat unfortunately did not fit hence the reason for four stars. Again, this cat is 13 pounds and is not the most trim and I normally have to buy small dog size to fit her thick neck so this was very user-friendly for her.

The collar is crocheted and fits just fine on my 12 lb Siberian cat. The hat though…no way. I am not sure any size cat could wear it. The ear hole placement seems off.

Not what I expected. The collar is perfectly described. It is soft and has some give for heads and neck of cats. However the hat can only be described as one that will fit a couple week old kitten. There is no way that it’s the 3 inches in width maybe in circumference. And there is absolutely no give for the moment of cats. Christmas collar is nice but hat is just a let down.

The hat is not shaped for my cats’ heads, could not get it on at all, but the collar is flexible, knitted with an elastic toggle cord closure and slips on easily. It’s nice quality, soft to the touch, stretchy.

Update (pix 2): we got the medium also and the hat again doesn't match a normal cat’s head - earholes are way up high and it is rectangular? Do not buy! Original post (pix 1): We got tbe small because our cat is only 7 lbs and small. While the collar was easy to put on and size to fit and was even a little big the hat was 1” wide (NOT as advertised) Not even a small animal has a 1” wide head ear to ear. It didn’t stretch it expand. We are returning this unfortunately.

Really cute but the hat is way to small to place on a cat.
