The quality is really good, but it's very problematic since it is bulging, which means you cannot wear glasses (specs) with it. I bought it for lazy eye treatment (which is most often patch+glasses). My son wore for 5 minutes, then went back to the patch that he hates as this was worse.Having said that, if you want it for pirate role playing, or post-operation eye cover it might be good as it applies no pressure on the eye.If it was flat in design I would have given a full 5 rating

I bought other eye patches that stuck to the eyebrows and my 3 year old cried when I took them off, I bought a $3 eye patch from my local grocery store and if you are old enough to remember Madonna in her skimpy outfit bra that is what it looks like and it looks awful, then we bought this one and it is so soft and you can adjust the band. My daughter loves it and even goes to put it on herself. Love It.

I needed a patch for my left eye after having cataract surgery on the right eye as the “dual vision” I was experiencing was just too much for me! Because of my vision problems, taking the lens out of my glasses on the side of the eye that had been corrected by the surgery was actually worse, so the eye doctor recommended covering the uncorrected eye instead. I had a plastic shield from the surgery that I only needed to wear at night on the corrected eye, but it was uncomfortable and a mess to use during the day on my left eye (has to be taped to your eye and face), so I ordered this patch. I noticed in the reviews that many folks said the child’s size was actually the same as the adult size, and since it’s a little less expensive, I just got the child’s size. I don’t have any trouble putting it on. The band that goes around your head is elastic but can be adjusted with the Velcro strip on the band. I can easily adjust the band to lay on my forehead above the eye the patch is not covering. It maybe that the band on the child’s size is shorter than the one on the adult size, so you might consider how your head is shaped and it’s circumference when deciding between the adult size and child size patches. The shape of the patch makes it fit the eye more securely and is slightly dome shaped so that I can move my eye easily inside the patch.

I have double vision and only closing or covering my worse eye stops it. It is much worse when in the car. Although this patch does work and I am glad I tried it, but I would only recommend if you don't need to wear glasses. A pair of fit-over-sun-glasses does work fine with it, but not regular glasses that sit closer to your face.It is comfortable over my eye and I can open and close my eye behind it easily, despite having naturally long eyelashes that are even longer due needing to use of glaucoma drops.It also shifts around a tiny bit , leave a mark on my forehead, and messes my hair up, but I expected that would happen. I suggest you remove it to re-adjust the sturdy velcro strap. It will prevent your hair from getting all tangled up and then pulling out when you remove it.Then, when it fits properly, slip it on and off without pulling the velcro apart.I have a small face and small nose, which is why I selected the children's size and that was just fine for me.

My 9 year old daughter has had to patch her good eye in hopes of strengthening her bad eye for several months. Regular sticky eye patches from the drug store were getting very expensive and we had a hard time finding a reusable patch that didn't let light in and/or move around on the eye. This was perfect and saved us a ton of money. It did not irritate her skin and kept the light out completely for successful patching.

I bought this for my 7 year old son. We were told to patch his eye by the optometrist. And this patch has been great! It's easy to put on and take off. It's not to tight, so it's not uncomfortable to wear for extended amounts of time. I bought this approximately a year ago and it's still going strong!
