Purchased this air compressor because I got tired of seeing the low tire pressure indicator lit on my car dashboard and then having to go to the local gas station or Quickcheck every week or so to fill up my tires. The air compressor at Quickcheck has been out of order for a few months now so it doesn’t look like they are going to fix it anytime soon. This works nice. I was able to fill all 4 tires from 28 PSI to 35.5 PSI in about 5 minutes. I also like the auto shut off feature when the desired PSI is reached. Comes with a 10 ft cord which plugs into the cigarette lighter. It was plenty long to be able to reach all 4 tires. Comes with a nice storage bag as well. So far I only used the unit twice so I’ll have to see how it holds up over time. It’s not that loud either. The only negative I have is that it doesn’t have an AC option to be able to plug it into an electrical outlet. The only option is to plug the unit into the power cod in the cigarette lighter in the car. Other than that I’m happy so far.

I seem to always have tires with slow leaks ..... not sure why, but it is my life story.That said, it is a pain to find the time and the place to stop and get air on a regular basis. Some machines need cash only, some make you use a credit card at a minimum $2 and most around here are broken.Now I can air up any time, any place! I love that you set the pressure you want and it snaps on to the valve stem so you do not have to stay bent over your tire.This compressor seems sturdy and well built and I love that it comes with a nylon bag to keep it in to keep the cord and hose contained and not moving around in the trunk. It comes with an area at the bottom to hold the cord and hose, but I don't bother to take the time to get it all stuffed in there when all I have to do is put it all in the bag and pull the drawstring.

I had a little difficulty getting starting, important to keep instructions with purchase until use at least once., it took me a few tries before getting it working. The pwr cord is too short, can only use it on my car but not my SUV, and my car is a small convertible. I didn’t think of where the tire valves was would be important to the fixing, but it works better it the valves is turned closer to the car.

It works exactly as advertised; it shuts itself up automatically once it reaches the desired pressure and the intake is easy to remove from the tires so you don't end up deflating them while unscrewing it. The only real drawback is that the cable is only long enough to be able to use the compressor with a midsized car. It's long enough for me to be able to use it with my Challenger, but if you own anything larger than that (e.g. an SUV or a full sized truck) you might want to look elsewhere.
